– The original plan for the IC title, which explains why they broke up the tag team of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, was to put the belt onto Murdoch from Flair, and then from him to Benjamin.
– Thea Vidale was hired to be Mamma Benjamin by the creative team, not talent relations. There was some heat on creative who apparently knew about Thea’s recent surgery but may not have told anyone higher up the ladder about it. She’s pretty much been on RAW since, although they wrote a supposed “heart attack” into the storylines due to the real-life health issue.
– Charlie Haas was approached by Johnny Ace to come back while at Eddy’s funeral.
