Billy meets Dualla, they kiss, and flirt and stuff. Dualla also flirts with Lee. Adama questions Sharon about Cylon motivations.
Start of the Episode
Sesha Abinell (Dana Delany) is in a room covered in articles about Cylons, typing a report about Cylons. There are pictures of Sharon all over her desk. She flashes back to a scene where a man get sucked out into space because of a Cylon Raider attack. She has a recent photo from Galactica with Sharon in it.
Adama, Billy and Roslin listens to a report about Galactica harboring a Cylon agent. Adama wonders how the press found out. He says if he thought that she posed a danger to the fleet he would shoot her himself. Billy says he needs to tell the fleet that and make them believe.
Roslin and Billy discuss the issues surrounding Sharon. Billy tells her she needs to tell the people the truth. Billy sees Dualla, and approaches her. He is asking her the ‘big question.” Dualla says she can’t marry him. Billy is heart broken.
Cloud 9
Dualla talks to Lee about the proposal at dinner at the Cloud 9 Lounge. He ask her if she regrets not saying yes. She said, “no.”
Ellen Tight enter the bar and bumps into Sesha Abinell. Some ominous music plays as she scans the room and makes eye contact with some rough looking guys.
Opening Credits

Back at the Lounge, Lee orders a drink and runs into Ellen Tigh. The exchange pleasantries. Sesha Abinell and her cronies make their way to the front of the restaurant.
Billy sees Dualla waiting for Lee. He greets her, but then gets upset when she realizes she is there with Lee. He feels like he’s been played for a fool. Lee leaves the tense situation. Billy whines that she wasn’t honest with him.
Ellen and Lee talk about love and monogamy. He points out Sesha Abinell to Ellen and asked her if she had seen her before. He gets a weird feeling and tells Ellen to follow him to the bathroom. She thinks it’s for kinky sex. It’s not.
Lee watches from the bathroom as the terrorist start their terrorizing. They shoot into the air, and order everyone to the bar.
Back on Galactica, Adama meets with Sharon. She gives him tactical advice. She asks him if the fleet knows she’s on Galactica. He says they do, then sends her back to the brig. Tigh warns Adama about relying too much on “that things intelligence.”
Back at the Lounge, Lee goes all Die Hard and removes a panel, and takes Ellen’s drink, and starts to crawl into the wall. Ellen leaves the bathroom, and goes out to the terrorist. She tells them she is Tigh’s wife. They use her to send a message to Galactica. Sesha Abinell tells Adama and Tigh she has control of the Cloud 9 Lounge. She says that the Colonial Fleet has become Cylon Occupied Territory. She demands that they give her the Sharon Cylon. Adama orders Gaeta to the dirt on Sesha Abinell.
Commercial Break
Gaeta spills the dirt on Sesha Abinell, says she is the widow of a man killed in a Cylon attack. Adama finds out Starbuck is on Cloud 9 along with half a Marine force. He contacts her.
Lee uses the dry ice in Ellen’s drink to trick the CO2 sensor. Some of the terrorists check out the bathroom. He looks in the stalls, one by one. Lee attacks him, and the wrestle a bit. He steals the goons gun and takes him captive.
Starbuck hooks up with the Marines. She briefs them.
Lee comes out of the bathroom, with the goon. He says he wants to talk. Abinell pulls Dualla out of the crowd and threatens to kill her. Lee relents, and gives up his weapon. The goon punches him in the stomach. Abinell says that they can use Lee as a bargaining chip against Adama. The CO2. sensor goes off, and the terrorists think they may have a problem.
As Adama discusses the potential Strike on Cloud 9 lounge, Abinell contacts him about the CO2 issue. They go back and forth a bit. Adama says she is doing this because of her husbands death. She says that he is being played by the Cylons. Finally, he relents and agrees to send in a technician.
Adama says that they can’t give her Sharon. Tigh agrees but reminds Adama that it’s not Sharon but a frakkin’ Cylon. Starbuck tells Adama that there is nothing wrong with the oxygen levels. She says that someone screwed with the sensors to give them an opening. She wants to send someone in there to recon the situation. Adama tells her to get a volunteer. Starbuck decides to be that volunteer.
Starbuck enters the lounge. The terrorists search her. She looks clean. As she walks through the bar, stupid Ellen acts like she recognizes her. She may as well have jumped up and down screaming, “She’s undercover.” Stupid. The terrorist get suspicious, decide to search her again. Starbuck pulls a gun out of her tool box and starts exchanging fire with the terrorist, in a room full of hostages. Not good.
In the confusion, Lee rushes forward just as Starbuck shoots. Lee gets hit by her bullet. The Marines rush in, shooting, and pull Starbuck back out the hatch. Lee lays dazed and bleeding. Dualla rushes to him, screaming for Billy to help. Abinell examines one of her own dead. One of the terrorist pull a gun on Billy, but he tells them they need to save Lee or Adama will refuse to give them the Cylon.
Starbuck reports the screwed up mission to Adama, who grunts unhappily. She tells him that Lee was shot, along with two Marines and one of the gunman. He tells her to hold her position. She tells Adama that she thinks she shot Lee.
Commercial Break
Dualla and Billy work on Lee. He’s bleeding bad, but he’s alive. Billy comforts Dualla. the terrorist are pissed.
Adama meets with Sharon again, and asked her if she’s playing him. She sites her record of saving the ship. He asks her if she would tell him who the Cylon imposters in the fleet were. She answers no.
Roslin meets with Adama and Tigh. They discuss options. Adama says they only have one option. Roslin says they don’t deal with terrorist, even if family is involved. She sells Billy is the closest thing she has to family, and she’s emotionally confused as well, but they can’t deal. Precedent and all. Tigh wonders if the terrorists are right about Sharon.
Abinell contacts Adama. She tells him Lee is alive, but dying. Abinell tells Adama she will kill two hostages, Billy and Ellen (please, kill Ellen, please!!). Adama says he will give her the Cylon, but she will be dead. She says that isn’t the deal. She wants some live Cylon action. He pushes her, she relents.
Commercial Break
Adama comes to Cloud 9, with Sharon’s corpse. Starbuck wants to help, but Adama says he will take care of it.
Billy is checking out one of the terrorists. Dualla tells him that she knows he thinks he can get one of their guns, but he better not do it. He is not trained for it.
Abinell talks with one of her goons. He says that they are outside with the body. He lets them in. They check the body, it’s Sharon. Abinells shoots the dead body in the face. One of the goons realizes something is wrong, he pulls down the sheet and figures out that this Sharon has been dead for weeks, that it’s a trick. She tells him to kill Dualla.
Soldiers rush in. Billy rushes one of the terrorist and gets shot. The soldiers take out the rest of the terrorist. Dualla yells for help for Billy. Adama checks on Lee. Dualla cries over Billy.
Billy dies.
Back on Galactica, Adama watches over the Cylon Sharon’s body, in the morgue. Roslin questions Adama about his stunt, asks whether it was worth it. She looks at Billy’s body and cries over it. Sadness ensues.
Dualla is in the sick bay with Lee. She tells him they will talk when he is better. She tells him he can’t leave, that she will be there when he wakes up. A guilty Starbuck enters, but quickly leaves upon seeing Dualla with Lee.
Sharon lies in the Brig, in all her pregnant glory. Still alive.
