Well another Monday night brings some more ’24’ excitement. Rob Purchase and I are here once again. This week we are joined by special guest David Nesseth, also known at Loch Ness.
Nesseth was nice enough to bring over a copy of ‘Air Bud: Spikes Back.’ A classic movie if I’ve ever seen one before.

Romo: I wonder if Edgar will get the full ceremonial burial? Oh and Tony with Henderson!!

The gas continues to disperse in CTU. Many people are dead on the floor. There are several sealed areas as per an announcement over the speaker system.
Curtis is heading over to CTU.
Bauer calls Bill and gets an update about Curtis who cant get there for 30 mins.
Jack wants to know if Henderson is alive. Bill tells them that the gas masks are in an area exposed.
Chloe cries as Edgar has stuff oozing out of his mouth.
Kim’s bf offers to help Chloe, he is a clinical psychologist. He is Dr. Landis.
Romo: I wonder if he is trying to get into her pants too?
Landis starts to try and calm down Chloe.
Chloe feels bad for treating Edgar like crap all day.
Rudy says its all his fault. He is sealed up with some security guard whom he tells
Tony gets out of his bed, the doctor comes to get him. Tony says “I’m not gonna sit in this bed while CTU is under attack.”
Bill tells Jack how to get in touch with the doctor. Jack gives him an update and the doctor tells him that Henderson is in the
Almeida takes out the doctor, covers his mouth and takes him down. Tony hangs up on Jack. He goes towards Henderson. He pulls a gun on Burke, the guy who was torturing Henderson.
Tony orders him aside. Tony starts to talk to Henderson. “She was my life and you took her.”
Jack starts to talk to Tony. He is trying to convince him not to do this. He says he knows what it feels like. He tells Tony they need to keep Henderson alive.
Rob: Don’t listen to him. Do what you have to do. Shoot his ass!
Tony relents. Burke continues to question Henderson, who is standing firm.
The VP is told that 40% of CTU are dead. Logan wants to know who is gonna stop the terrorists. Homeland security wants to take over for CTU now. The VP keeps pushing the Martial Law option.
Logan is still against the Martial Law option.
The Russians discuss how CTU is now longer an obstacle. They now have a plan to release the rest of the gas, no location is indicated.

Jack speaks up and tries to get Chloe to get back to work at cracking Henderson’s computer. She doesn’t want to do it. Jack tells her “we do not quit until its over.”
Barry tells Jack this isn’t helping. Jack corners him and he points out that he is 20 years older than her. He starts to choke Barry.
WARNING!!….it seems the seal pressure is breaking. The gas is breaking down the seal. Chloe says they have 15-20 minutes before the gas gets in the room.
Novak calls the VP and says he is not trying to usurp his position.
Rob: You know you are Novak.
Martha asks Novak whats going on. She finds out they are going ahead with the Martial Law. Martha thinks Hal wants to make Charles look bad.
Rob: I love Novak, he is my favourite character”¦.except Tony Almeida who is in a league of his own.
Novak urges Martha to talk to Logan.
Bill, in his office by himself, gives an update on the safe zones. He says the Chem Team will not get there in time. They need to find a way to flush the gas out of the building.
Jack gets Chloe to try and access the ventilation system. Audrey is all about sitting on her ass and doing nothing.
Chloe has something. She thinks she can flush the contaminated zones, but she is being blocked by a computer.
Jack wants to go to this room. He can get there mostly through an safe area and then he will hold his breath to get the computer and get back to the room.
Jack starts to start going through the wall. Chloe tells him they are running out of time.

Jack continues to make his way through the crawl space.
He finds some masking tape and uses it to seal up the air lock. Jack is going in!
He puts the hood on.
Rob: That will save me.
He enters the room, still holding his breath, breaks into a wall with a knife. He is looking for the computer. He can’t seem to access it.
Chloe tells Kim there is nothing they can do to help Jack. Kim tells Chloe not to talk down to her.
Jack has made it back in the room. They don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Jack takes a breathe. He tells Chloe he couldn’t get to it. There is a grid blocking him from getting to it.
She finds out there was a security upgrade that was not logged. Lynn McGill is the only one who can get to the room.
Jack calls Rudy and gives him the update. Chloe tells him how to get to the room. Jack tells him that he is the only one who can do it. Rudy has no where to go.
Harry, the security guard, asks if Rudy does this will they both die. Harry is not exactly keen about dying.
Rudy tries to convince Harry they have to do this.
Romo: RUDY!!
Harry reluctantly agrees. Chloe gives Rudy the update on what he needs to do.

Kim goes over to talk to Chloe and apologizes.
Romo: That was like 2 minutes ago.
Chloe tells Kim that she sent Jack info about Kim while he was “away.” Kim asks to know where Chase is, Chloe offers to find him.
Rob: there are more pressing matters.
Chloe gives the rundown for her day: Woke up with a guy in my bed, and my best friend died.
Rob: Oh Spencer, reduced to “guy in my bed.”
Harry is on the phone with his son, he is crying. He tells his son he loves him and says goodbye.
Rudy tells Chloe they are ready. She thanks him.
Rob: That’s classic.
Rudy and Harry take a deep breath and go for it.
Rob: NOW PLAYING FOR NOTRE DAME”¦.RUDY!!
Rudy finds the computer and start to fix things. The AC is working.
Chloe gets the fans working. It will take 15 minutes to clear all the air but they should be ok. Jack tells Rudy he was successful. Rudy is on the floor”¦.holding his breath. Harry lets go of his breath and says he is ok.
Romo: Not for long.
Harry starts to choke and die.
Rudy starts to breath and he is shaking.
Rob: Tremendous acting!!
He dies.
Rob: The Syntax gas is like the Darwin Awards, they are killing of the stupidest one.
Jack asks to see whats going on in medical.
Burke gives Henderson another injection. Tony says he is wasting his time. Henderson is still not talking.
Romo: Fuck him up Tony.
Jack doesn’t think they will break Henderson. Jack tells Chloe to work on the files. Jack wants Kim to get checked over in medical when things are cleared up. She says she is going to go.
She doesn’t want to be around him anymore. Whenever she is around him bad things happen, people die.
Jack begs her to stay.
Kim”¦well she just can’t!
Audrey secretly holds Jack’s hand.

Martha is arguing against the Martial Law plan. Logan thinks they have no choice. He asks for better ideas from her and Novak.
Rob: Come on Mike, step to the plate.
Martha busts out a document. She says she will support him if its his idea but if its Hal’s plan.
Logan: “I don’t know how much more of this I can take.”
Romo: Best line of all-time.
Rob: He is gonna cry, here is comes.
Logan begins to break down, he is tearing up. He says he almost lost her. Martha reassures him. He didn’t lose her.
Logan’s strength is back.
The terrorists are getting ready. Ivan makes a call. Some hot girl picks up the phone. She is still waiting on a few items. She is getting him some detailed specs on some location.
The hot Russian girl comes back to the bed of her man.
Romo: She’s gonna kill him.
She leaves the bed saying she has to finish something.
Bill continues to make some calls. Karen from Homeland Security calls and asks for a body count. He says he needs about 35 total people. She says she is on her way over. Bill seems concerned.
Some guy with Karen says he is ready and will need to replace some of CTU’s people.
Karen wants to send these people home. She says CTU is no longer a viable entity.
Romo: It’s a good thing Jack Bauer or Tony Almeida don’t work for CTU.
Jack says his goodbye. Barry thanks Jack for saving his life. Jack tells Barry to take her outside of the city and not to make any stops.
Barry and Kim get ready to leave.
Tony looks over Henderson, whom he thinks is dead. Henderson is in a coma. Tony asks for Burke to wake him up.
Jack tells Tony to wait. Tony says his time is up.
Tony knocks out Burke. Tony gets some drugs.
Romo: He is gonna torture his ass.
He is about shoots him with adrenaline. Henderson wakes up and stabs Almeida with the needle. Tony goes down.
Rob: Oh Shit!
Henderson grabs a gun and looks to get away. Almeida is shaking. Jack finds Tony on the ground. Jack picks up Tony. Jack calls for help. He tells Tony to hang out. Tony says “she’s gone.”
Rob: You’d better not die.
Romo: Not like this,

Rob: Now I’m very concerned. I’d better see Almeida in the scenes (preview of next week)
Romo: This could be shittiest way to kill Tony. I am gonna blame Jack on this one.
Rob: Why is that?
Romo: Well because if Jack hadn’t been trying to convince Tony not to kill Henderson, Tony wouldn’t have had that second of doubt.
(After seeing the preview)
Rob: I don’t see Almeida, what the f*ck?
Final Comments
Rob: Not happy! Let’s see”¦.Brothers and sister around the world we face our darkest hour this evening. Somewhere out there children are starving to death, wars are being fought, but all the pales in comparison to the health of Tony Almeida.
Romo: I couldn’t have said it any better. Those children starving to death know that only Tony Almeida can stop their plague. Only Almeida can save the day. Without him, we are doomed.
