PWInsider.com is reporting that Shannon Moore has signed with WWE and will report to Deep South Wrestling.
PWTorch.com, however, has said that Moore has not signed with WWE as of this evening, and is considering offers from both companies. A WWE source told the Torch that he will not be sent to developmental, but rather re-teamed with Matt Hardy on Smackdown, if he signs.
Moore was reportedly offered a contract by TNA months ago, but never signed it, and the contract offer was being revised when he heard WWE was interested in bringing him back. Moore did participate in TNA iMPACT! tapings last night in Orlando, and TNA has recently trademarked “Price of Punk,” Moore’s gimmick. We’ll have more on this as it is available.
