Christian Cage is the first guest on this weeks show. Dr. Keith begins by forgetting the name of this weeks TNA PPV (Keith note: I was sick!), Against All Odds, which just happens to be Dr. Keith’s favorite Phil Collins song next to Sussudio. After Christian reveals his favorite Phil Collins song, he talks TNA and the great ratings.

Dr. Keith asks how long Christian considered leaving WWE. ‘I’d been seriously been considering for the last few months I was there.’ Christian goes into more depth into his frustrations with the WWE product. ‘I strongly felt I earned my way to work the top of the card or at least t! he chance to run with it,’ but has ‘nothing really bad to say.’ Christian wanted to “start fresh.”

On WWE”s direction “you never get a straight answer one way or another. I knew where I knew I should be, I earned my way to work towards the top of the card or given a chance to run at the top. It was teased but I never got the chance to run with the ball. I got a taste of it.” Keith wonders if Christian was still in WWE would we be seeing “Christian”s Mama”

The Ultimate Warrior DVD is brought up, and Christian’s comments. Christian talks about growing up watching! Warrior Warrior.

Keith asks what Christian found appealing about TNA. ‘It was an upstart company…Spike TV…and a chance for me to be a factor right away.” He has not yet ridden the rides at Universal Studios Orlando.

Jeff Jarrett’s white jeans are the next item on the agenda, and what Jeff really thought of the comments. ‘I didn’t tell him, I just went out there and said it.’ Keith asks if they were actually Jeff’s white jeans that Christian wore.
Chris Jericho involvement in TNA is the next question. ‘He’s not really thinking of coming back to wres! tling at this point.’ He’s not retired, but ‘he’s definitely taking a sabatical.’

The X-Division is next. ‘I’d love to work with those guys, it’d be a lot of fun.’ Christian puts AJ Styles over, ‘we could have a great match.’ He also tells a story about “discovering” Eric Young, working with Sting, and whether Christian could’ve come out with the Sting blond make-up. ‘The kind of Barry Windham thing?’ Cage says his favorite WCW guy was Sting, and Edge’s was Lex Luger. Dr. Keith thankfully doesn”t mention how he signed yearbooks in high school as Keith “Total Package” Lipinski” good times!

Dr. Keith asks about the possibility of following the Joe-AJ-Daniels match during this weekends pay per view. ‘I’ve never worried about following a match,’ and if you can’t follow this kind of match then ‘you shouldn’t be in the business.’ ‘I’ll try that much harder to have a great match, it would light a fire under me’

The press conference from last weeks iMPACT is noted, also the coldness of the water Jeff threw at Christian and shrinkage.

Christian says he has a ‘multi-year deal’ with TNA and talks about the exciting future for the company. He also talks about what TNA d! oes better then WWE, it involves the revolutionary idea of listening to the fans.

On Edge; ‘He did a great job winning the WWE Championship.’ Dr. Keith asks if Edge gunning for the WWE title and Christian going for the NWA title was in-fact a master plan for the both of them to be on top of their respective wrestling companies. On Edge winning the title it was ‘shocking so it got the audience talking again’

Keith and Christian also talk about CLB chants, the orgings of the Captain Charisma gimmick, a possible Cage book (‘take the cover of Edge’s and put my picture on it’), regrowing his hair, and his preference between the chicken suit and the Conq! uistador costume.

Christian says he ‘refuses to get on a ladder anywhere around my house,’ and talks about the Coolest Canadian Ever. Canadian rapper Snow AND Anne Murry are mentioned during this segment…

Dr. Keith asks the question I’ve really been wanting to know, whether Christian said goodbye to Tyson Tomko.

On Christian’s favourite tag teams of all time, other than the Conquistadors, he puts over the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, the Rockers and Arn & Tully.

After putting over most of the TNA roster, Christian talks about working other indie dates. He also talks about the possibility of working for Ring Of Honor, and overseas dates.

Christian then gives word association on Ultimate Warrior, Jeff Jarrett, Matt Hardy and Lance Hoyt before talking about pie, Saved by the Bell, and finishing with a five-second pose!

Music this week includes Sugar, Snow, The Lawrence Arms, Placebo, The Subways, Bullets To Broadway and Kenta Kobashi.
