Looking Ahead

Hello again, loyal reader, and thanks for checking this out. Much appreciated.

So what did you think of SNME then? I enjoyed it. I loved the video segments that kicked the show off, as well as the cheesy music. Old School Baby!

The only thing that bothered me about the show was the many, many camera angles and camera switches. It annoyed the hell out of me during the first match (who’d have thought they’d have put that on first btw?), but during the course of the show they either stopped hitting the “switch” button too many times, or I just didn’t notice.

Finally, the Mickie turn happened. About damn time.

The Austin-JBL thing was awesome, just for the fact that you could tell they were ad-libbing most of the time, and when JBL said that thing about his wife you could see him trying not to laugh. Its things like that that do it for me.

The old fire-table lived on, which I also loved. It meant that hopefully we’ll be seeing it a WrestleMania. At first it looked like Foley botched the con-chair-to to Edge on the ramp, but I’m pretty sure we’d have heard something about it now if he did.

The HBK-SOM (Shane O’Mac) match was great too, although the ending was crap and predictable.

Overall, I feel the WWE really delivered. Bravo!

Right then… let’s see what news I can manage to scrape together.

News… in the Present!

Shannon Moore has re-signed with the WWE

What RETARD put Moore on TNA TV in angles with AJ Styles when he wasn’t even signed? I’d fire somebody for that. Just saying.

Anyhoo, fair play to Moore, who did the smart thing and opted for the money.

On his MySpace, Marty Jannetty posted a message. Something to do with his computer being broken or something…

More like his local library found out he was living out of his car and banned him from using their computers to access the internet. They did let him borrow a book though. “The Beginners Guide to Parole”.

Also, it is rumoured Marty has entered that ‘Heist’ program that was advertised on SNME yesterday, as he thinks it might give him some experience for breaking out of jail when that time comes. If it’s not come already.

Rumours that his cell phone is just a public phone box cannot be confirmed as of yet either.

Season two of “Hogan’s Knows Best” premiered yesterday on VH-1

Mmmmm…. Brooke.

WrestleMania Predictions / Fantasy Booking / Etc…

WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Triple H

The outcome of this match is still tough to call. So I won’t bother saying anything until we get closer to ‘Mania.

Triple Threat Match for World Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio

This week I’m going for a Mysterio win, just because it would pave the way for smaller-than-your-average guys to hold the strap.

Also, I see Big Dave coming back as a heel, and a Batista-Mysterio ‘David vs. Goliath’ feud would go down a treat I think.

Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Shelton Benjamin vs. RVD vs. Ric Flair vs. Finley vs. Matt Hardy vs. ?

So, who will be the final entry? My moneys on PIRATE PAUL! Come on… you know you love him too.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what Flair and Finley come up with against each other. Two old-school pro’s butting heads. Should be a treat.

As for the winner… well… let’s go with RVD. He’ll be the one with the least direction coming out of Mania otherwise.

Mr. McMahon vs. Shawn Michaels

This is going to suck. After the great Shane vs. HBK match we just witnessed on SNME, there is no way this will beat those expectations. Unless BRET HART does what I said last week and comes down to interfere. I wonder if we’ll also see the return of the stooges?

Casket Match
The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry

I had a dream last night that Batista made his return during this match by bursting out of Taker’s coffin, turning heel, and costing him the match. But that’s stupid, as Taker’s not loosing his winning streak to anybody. There’s no point. So goodbye Henry, hello.. er.. ‘Taker winning. I’m tired… so sue me.

Hardcore Match
Edge vs. Mick Foley

I have every confidence this match will steal the show, especially if fire-tables are involved. I’d give the win to Foley on this one. Edge can get his win back later on down the line.

United States Championship Match
Chris Benoit vs. JBL

JBL to squeak out a victory. Nuff said.

Booker T vs. The Boogeyman

Make this a cage match (so Booker can’t f*ck off again) and you’re set. Boogeyman to kick-start his WrestleMania winning streak. No I’m not kidding… Boogey’s the new ‘Taker.

World Tag Team Championship Match
Kane & Big Show vs. Chris Masters & Carlito

Masters & Carlito pick up the win, then we might see the self-destruction of Kane & Big Show. I’m suffering from writers block. Can you tell?

The following matches haven’t been announced, but they’re what I think we’ll be seeing…

Women’s Title Match
Trish vs. Mickie James

After what went down on SNME, this is a dead-cert to happen.

As for the winner, well, I’ll go with Mickie as she could do with the strap to enhance her character.

Bra & Panties Match
Stacy & Torrie vs. Candice & Victoria

Ahh… the piss break/food hording/drink re-filling match. Stacy & Torrie to win.

Cruiserweight Title Match
Gregory Helms vs. Paul London

Paul London is the number 1 contender to the Cruiser title, so will this match be on the card?

Who knows? If Helms can suck it up and the WWE take the harnesses off, we’ll have a show-stealer of a match on our hands. Helms will still win though.

WWE Tag Title Match
MNM vs. The Mexicools vs. Noble & Kash vs. Gymini

Melina will do her split, we’ll see great wrestling, MNM will pick up the win, and everybody’s a happy chappy.

Draft Lottery

Every week until whenever they do the draft, I’ll be bringing you a recommendation for somebody to be moved.

This week.. it’s Carlito

Anybody else see Carlito talking to Teddy Long during SNME?

I say send both him and Masters over to SmackDown, along with the tag titles. To make things balance, they could switch them for all three MNM. Melina could feud with Trish after she’s finished with Mickie.

Right, that’s all you’re getting this week. Sorry for what seems like a rush job. It’s not though. I’ve just got a mild case of writers block. See you all next week.
