Randy Orton was on NFL Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio today on The Opening Drive with Carl Banks and Bob Papa on Channel 124. Orton was asked about his biggest opponents and Orton answered saying that his biggest opponents right now are Rey Mysterio, Jr and Kurt Angle at WrestleMania but The Undertaker and Triple H will always be up there. Orton was asked about the women in wrestling if they do “stunts” together with the men and he said yes because they are fellow employees but how close are they, Orton was laying in bed with his fiancee next to him doing the interview. Orton said he would kill to have a off season, last year he only got 7 days off, he just got back from doing a European tour and then they are going back to Europe after WrestleMania. Orton was asked about injuries, and Orton personally had a shoulder operation on both shoulders, had a broken foot and pain in his left foot. The hosts asked how they can continue to wrestle through the injury whereas in the NFL they cart them off the field. Second time Orton was on RAW, he had two matches back to back with Storm and Christian, and during the second match, 12 minutes in, he disconnected his right shoulder, but his adrenaline was so high from the crowd energy he kept going, he went backstage, his shoulder was out of socket, just like in the NFL, they know that line of toughness and that mentality. Orton’s not the biggest sport fan in the world but since he is from St. Louis he has to go with the Rams. He doesn’t have time with the travel to keep up. His off time he spends with his fiance, other than that he’s traveling in a car or on a plane or in a arena. The hosts plug WrestleMania and encourage him to stay healthy and to keep up the good work.
