Welcome everyone to InsidePulse’s live coverage of TNA Impact. As usual, I am your host Jeremy Lambert. Now if you read the teaser then you will see that I will also provide some coverage of the WWE HOF Ceremony. If you missed the Webcast on WWE.Com, here’s a quick rundown:
-Heenan came out to induct the Blackjacks. He played an April Fools joke on the crowd which was pretty funny. Blackjacks came out and shared stories about Heenan and marriage.
-Greg Gagne was out next to induct his father. Greg listed just about every wrestler his dad has trained. Both Gagne’s thank the McMahon family. The crowd chanted “One More Match” at Verne.
-Cena came out to induct The Fridge. Cena got his ass handed to him by the crowd. Cena actually mentioned the boos reigning down from the crowd. The crowd wouldn’t let Cena speak and would chant “Triple H” when he tried. Cena inducted Fridge with a Howard Cosell impersonation. Fridge talked about his WM experience and that’s about it. Yeah, crowd was really all over Cena, which made all of it worth it.
-Dibiase was out next to induct Sherri. It was nice to hear his theme again, he even tossed money out to the crowd. Dibiase talks about how Sherri stood up to a bouncer. Sherri goes through a list of wrestlers that she wanted to talk about including Booker, Savage, Edge, HHH, Austin, and others. Sherri went all hardcore on the fans telling someone to shut up. I still think she could pull off being manager in today’s WWE.
-SD Jones inducts his tag partner Tony Atlas. I don’t know anything about these two so I didn’t pay much attention to them.
Ok, now the real show starts on USA and the real wrestling starts on SpikeTV. I’ll try my best to give you good WWE coverage but I’m TNA first. So sit back, relax, and enjoy WWE vs. TNA.
TNA: The show starts with Team Canada singing the Canadian National Anthem until Team 3-D comes out and attacks them from behind. They brawl on the outside and through the crowd.
WWE: A video plays of the Class Of 06 inductions. Hogan comes out to induct Mean Gene.
TNA: Team 3-D continues to beat up Team Canada on the outside and through the crowd. Inverted 3-D on Roode. Wazzup on Young. Team 3-D grabs a table from under the ring. A-1 and Petey come out to make the save but thats stopped. The numbers game catches up to Team 3-D.
WWE: Hogan talks about Mean Gene and how good he was as an interviewer
TNA: Roode hits the Northern Lariet on Devon. Young hits a top rope elbow drop on Devon through the table.
WWE: A video package on Mean Gene plays, a lot of it has to do with Hogan.
TNA: D’Amore bad mouth Team 3-D and USA. The Impact Opening video plays. Tenay and West run down what’s going to happen tonight on Impact. Sounds like an awesome show. We go to the back where Borash is with Jarrett. Jarrett announces that his team will be AMW, Steiner, and Himself. Like we didn’t see that coming.
WWE: Commercials right before Mean Gene gives his induction speech.
TNA: Steiner and Jarrett say that they’ll see Sting later tonight in the ring.

WWE: Mean Gene talks about the tag match he had with Hogan. He puts over Hogan like he’s a God.
TNA: Highlights are shown from the house show in Detroit.
WWE: Heenan kisses the bald head of Mean Gene.
TNA: America’s Most Wanted vs. The James Gang for the NWA Tag Team Titles:
*BG does his usual mic work before the match.
WWE: Mean Gene tells a joke about his mother in laws mustache.
TNA: *AMW makes Jackie get on her knees…that joke writes itself. They pour beer on her. That could write itself as well.
*Kip gets an early advantage on Harris.
WWE: Mean Gene says all his critics can kiss his ass. They then go to commercials.
TNA: *Storm hits a superkick on BG.
*BG goes for the shake rattle and roll on Harris but it’s blocked with a clothesline
*Kip comes in and hits a tilt o whirl slam on Harris
*Gail Kim slaps Jackie on the outside
*Storm throws BG into the railing
*Kip hits the fame-ass-er on Harris
*Konnan comes in and hits Kip with the slap jack behind the refs back. Harris makes the cover.

WWE: Lillian introduces the inductees that didn’t get their speeches on USA. Lawler introduces a video package on Eddie.
TNA: We get a video package on the Abyss/Christian feud thus far. We get highlights of last weeks footage shot by Shelley.
WWE: Everyone gives the Eddie video a standing ovation.
TNA: Abyss comes to the ring with Mitchell and now we get part two of Shelleys video.
WWE: Benoit, Chavo, and Rey are introduced. They will give their speeches after commercials.
TNA: Mitchell brings up some good points about Christian and Abyss. He says that once Christian won the belt, he ran off to make movies instead of facing Abyss. “Does this look like a man who makes wise cracks?” (Mitchell refering to Abyss) That might be the best line and truest statement of the night. Now, part two of the Shelley video. Shelley shoots footage of Christians house. Christian takes out the trash and spots Shelley. Christian knocks down Shelley. Abyss attacks Christian from behind and beats the hell out of Christian in the front yard. They battle inside the house where Abyss continues to beat the hell out of Christian. THROW HIM THROUGH THE BIG SCREEN TV! Abyss shoves Christian into the pool. Abyss attempts to drown Christian in the pool. Mitchell calls Abyss off of Christian.
WWE: Chavo talks about how good of a person Eddie was and says that he passed away way to early. The fans start a “Eddie” chant.
TNA: Mitchell says that Alex Shelley wins the Oscar for Best Director. Yes, FUCK ANG LEE!

WWE: Chavo talks about how Eddie helped him out when he came to wrestling and life. A “Thank You Eddie” chant starts up. Chris Benoit steps to the mic. Benoit talks about how much Eddie meant to him and Dean Malenko. Benoit talks about Eddie winning the World Title.
TNA: Samoa Joe vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonjay Dutt:
WWE: Rey talks about what Eddie meant to him and the wrestling world.
TNA: *Daniels is on commentary for this match
*Shelley puts the crotch crawl on Dutt
WWE: Vickie Guerrero accepts Eddie’s plaque.
TNA: *Sabin hits a middle rope dropkick on Joe
*Dutt hits a springboard hurricanrana on Joe

WWE: The crowd starts a “Eddie” chant as Vickie is talking. Vickie thanks the fans and talks about how Eddie always wanted to thank them in return by putting on the best matches possible. Bret Hart will be inducted after Commercials.
TNA: *We return with Shelley making a blind tag to Joe, Joe is not happy with that
*Dutt hits the shining wizard on Shelley
*Sabin hits a dropkick to the back of the head on Shelley
*Sonjay hits a missle dropkick on Shelley
WWE: Lawler introduces a video package on Bret Hart
TNA: *Joe tosses Sabin and Shelley to the outside
*Joe hits the Muscle Buster on Dutt for the win

After the match, Daniels and Joe brawl on the outside as security breaks them up.
We go to the back where Borash is walking with Jarrett. Jarrett is on his way to the ring to call out Sting.

WWE: Lawler introduces Austin. Austin comes out, poses, and then commercials.
TNA: We get a video package on Steiner at Destination X and highlights of Stings interview from last week.
Jarrett comes out with AMW and Steiner.
WWE: The crowd chants “Austin-Hogan”. Austin says he found a can of whoop ass with Hogans name on it in his bag.
TNA: Jarrett calls out Sting. The lights go out in the arena. Rhino and The James Gang are in the crowd saying “The Mind Games have just begun”. Killings, Chase Stevens, Shark Boy, and Smiley are in the crowd and WASS UP WASS UP WASS UP WASS UP!
WWE: Austin introduces Bret
TNA: Jarrett says “This aint no rap concert”. AJ Styles, Lethal, Dutt, and Sabin are on the ramp saying there will be a war tonight. The lights go out. STING IS BEHIND JARRETTS ARMY!!!! Sting beats the hell out of the arm with the bat.
WWE: Bret talks about his fall out with Vince
TNA: Sting coninues to beat the hell out of Jarretts army.
WWE: Bret thanks the McMahons
TNA: Sting and his crew staredown Jarrett and his crew
End Impact
WWE: Bret tells a funny story about Owen. The crowd chants “Owen”. Bret talks about never injurying a wrestler in 23 years. Bret thanks his wife for being his angel. Bret gives a message to current wrestlers about working hard.
