Another action-packed hour of ‘24′ is set to get rolling with CTU in danger of being enveloped by the dreaded Homeland Security. It’s just a good thing that Jack Bauer doesn’t technically work for either of them so he can do as he damn well pleases. The fate of Wayne Palmer hangs in doubt. The question of who else in the government was in cahoots with Henderson.

Rob: I heard this is gonna be a big Henderson episode.

Curtis is giving CTU an update on the situation. Chloe tells them that the sentox is not in the atmosphere. Looks like Jack was successful.
Curtis looks at the smoke and Jack Bauer comes out with Bierko drapped over his shoulder.
Rob: We need some Rambo music right now.
Jack tries to wake up Bierko but he is out. Some guys start working on Bierko to revive him.
Bill gets a call from Jack, and asks for an update on Henderson.
Romo: I hope Henderson has a rough death. He killed Tony.
The VP talks to Homeland goons about what is going on in a semi-coup.
Homeland sexual assaulter suggests a way to make to look CTU bad.
Bill and Audrey talk about what Homeland is up to. Audrey thinks CTU needs to stay in charge.
Bill and Audrey can’t figure out why the VP wants to find.
Henderson talks to his goons who have lost Wayne Palmer. He orders the goons to “get over here.”
Aaron opens the car door to find Wayne who is injured but alive. He sits up, but refuses to get looked at. Wayne tells Aaron about the messages he knows about, something about the first lady’s aide.
Just in time she appears and talks to Martha about some briefing. Evelyn is tired.
Romo: It’s a 24 first. Someone is gonna get some sleep.
Evelyn heads off. But she is caught by Wayne and Aaron who insist on talking her.
Rob: You aren’t going anywhere.
They take Evelyn in a room. She was sending emails to David Palmer. She first denies but Wayne demands to know what she told David. Evelyn is about to cry under Wayne’s questioning.
He grabs her and yells. She says they kidnapped her little girl. She says they forced her to help or they would kill her child. Wayne says to trust him. Aaron says they will just kill both her and her kid.
Evelyn says she will give over the evidence if they get her kid.

Rob: I am confused.
Romo: Yeah I don’t see why she would warn Palmer if she was being threatened?

Chloe and her new gf are looking for Henderson. They notice Homeland people coming in.
Chloe is told by some blondie to leave her station. Homeland head girl has just announced they are taking over CTU and wants to make the transition.
Audrey is asked by Perv to go into the boardroom.
Rob: Someone is gonna get to know happy hands.
Romo: I am calling him Perv for the rest of the season.
Wayne calls Jack and tells him about Evelyn and her kid being kidnapped.
Romo: Jack’s gonna get the kid back.
Wayne and Jack set up a meeting in 20 minutes in a barn.
Audrey and Perv start talking about the switchover.
Rob: look at him staring at her.
Audrey disagrees with Perv about how CTU handled the situation. She refuses to signs the document.
Perv says serious mistakes were made today and it would be a shame for it to taint her career and her department. He says by singing the document it isolates Bill and CTU as the ones to blame.
Romo: Don’t be a chicken shit.
Audrey says she is proud of what they did her today and Bill is a hero.
Romo: She is so gonna sleep with Bill now.
Rob: That old dog. First he bags michelle now he goes for the silver medal.
Jack calls Audrey and tells her what is going on with Wayne and Evelyn. He asks for some satellite help. She tells Jack about Karen and homeland has taken over.
Jack implies that the VP has ties to Henderson now.
Rob: That would be too obvious the VP is involved. I want Novak to be involved so bad.
Perv talks to Karen”¦but Audrey comes in and agrees with signing the statement. She says she wants to protect her father. She says she wants one thing in return, to keep Chloe on and she will respond only to her. After a tense showdown”¦Karen agrees.
Henderson meets with his goons and they are heading out. Henderson says he will take care of the girl.

Evelyn heads out to her car, she doesn’t see anyone. Aaron and Wayne walk towards the exit. The VP spots Wayne”¦.uh”¦oh. Aaron says Wayne came to gave him a memento from his brother. The VP gives his condolences to Wayne.
Romo: He is a good politician.
Rob: Where is the f*cking President?
Romo: Maybe he is taking a nap?
Rob: Novak isgiving him a bubble bath.
The VP gives Palmer a death stare.
Chloe goes over to Bill and asks whats going on. Perv comes over and orders Chloe back to work. Perv tells Bill about the document signed by Audrey. Bill is shocked Audrey would sign it. Audrey comes out of nowhere to confirm she signs it. Bill is all sad looking.
Rob: Yeah. That was awesome.
Evelyn tells Wayne about the call she got from the kidnappers. She still refuses to say anything until she gets her kid back. She says she trusted David, he was a good man that’s why she tried to talk to him. Wayne just cant believe he is gone. She feels bad that she may have endangered him. She has her brothe’s blood on her hands.
Romo: That’s a good line.
Evelyn gets a call, Palmer patches Jack in. Evelyn answers”¦.Henderson is on the other line. He asks about Wayne Palmer, he wants to know why. She claims ignorance about Wayne and says she doesn’t know he was there. She asks to talk to Amy. Henderson puts Amy on the phone. Amy is ok.
Romo: Blah, blah, blah (as Amy and Evelyn say they love each other.)
Jack calls Audrey and tells her that Henderson called Evelyn, he gives her the co-ordinates. Audrey goes to chloe and tells her that Jack needs her help.
Audrey says she had to keep Chloe around to help Jack.

Romo: Fucking internet is still not working, thus no updates.
Romo: This (the booze we have been drinking) is hitting me pretty good.
Rob: and we still have some left.

Evelye and Wayne are waiting for Jack in the farmhouse”¦a car approaches”¦..
Tension grows. Palmer feels something is wrong”¦they hide but he then sees Jack and relaxes. Jack introduces himself and promises to get her daughter back.
Jack calls to speak to Chloe, who gives him some info about 10 guys around the exchange area. Wayne wants to help out, he was a marine. But Jack says you didn’t go to combat and training is not the same as killing someone.
Rob: You just got verbally castrated son.
Wayne says these people killed his brother and he cant just walk away.
Romo: I bet Wayne makes a good kill.
The VP meets up with Logan who is busy making phone calls. The VP tells Logan about Wayne Palmer being on the premises. Logan buys the memento story Aaron gave.
Jack, Wayne and Evelyn stop their car. Jack preps Evelyn for the meeting. Evelyn heads off alone. Jack and Wayne get ready to make a go of things. Chloe tells him info about the building and how to get in, and where the hostiles are.
Jack gives Palmer a gun. They move in.

Romo: That’s a good commercial break.

Henderson talks to his goon to see if they have the “mark.”
Jack and Wayne keep moving deeper into the building. Jack grabs one guy and shoots him through the back. They keep moving.
Rob: that was fantastic.
Jack says there are too many of them. He tells wayne to take out one of the guards to he can get at the sniper. Jack sees one guy move into view and takes him out. They keep moving.
Chloe tells Wayne where to go. Wayne sees his guy, he turns and “¦.has him in his sights but”¦finally he shoots and takes him out. He tells Jack its all clear. Jack moves up to a higher level.
Jack spots the sniper, who tells Henderson he hears a car. Jack slits his throat. Henderson asks for what he sees. Jack muffles his voice and says a woman the car. The ruse worked.
Evelyn gets out of the car. Jack has the snipe gun and is ready. Evelyn gets a call by Henderson who tells her to open all the doors of the car, which she does. He orders her to drop the car keys on the ground.
She yells she wants her daughter. Henderson says he is coming out. He has the girl and two goons behind him.
Henderson lets Amy go to Evelyn. Evelun goes down and Jack starts shooting. Henderson gets in the car. He drives over his goons and gets away. Jack continues to shoot. He asks Chloe to follow Henderson. It looks like Evelyn was also hit when he drove away.
Evelyn says the VP has nothing to do with this.
Henderson calls some shadowy figure. He tells him that he will handle Palmer and Bauer.
Romo: It’s LOGAN! It’s LOGAN!!
Logan is on the phone with Jack.
Rob: I thought for sure it was Novak!

Rob: I don’t like this turn of events.
Romo: I love it.
Rob: Why is Logan acting this way now? This makes no sense compared to how he acted towards Walt earlier. The only way I will like this season is if Novak foils him
Final Comments:
Romo: Note to self: Drinking and ‘24′ good thing. Drinking ‘24′ and live recap, perhaps not such a good thing. This episode had a good last 10 minutes but the rest of it was meh. Although I am intrigued with the potential of a Chloe, Audrey, Jack threesome. MVP of the episode: Wayne Palmer. Most Improved Player: Logan, only because he finally has some balls, even if it makes no sense with the rest of the plot line. It should be noted that Bauer doesn’t qualify for these awards as he is always the MVP.
Rob: Hmm”¦right now Tony Almeida would be turning in his grave, if he had one. The Logan development is a rather pathetic plot ploy. The only this season will be redeemed is if Novak ices Logan with his bare hands.
