It seems that NBC were the ones pushing hard for Jim Ross to return to the announce team for Saturday Night’s Main Event, due both to the familiarity he brings to the product and to not thinking Joey Styles was ‘network quality’. Styles has been looking a lot less confident and enthusiastic backstage in recent weeks.
