– I’m not in the Impact mode. Just a few minutes before 11 I remembered Impact was on. I’m still not used to the Thursday rotation. Anyway, let’s just get this over with.

– From Orlando, Florida

– Hosts are Mike Tenay & Don West

Team Canada v. Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt
I still refuse to call them Team USA with a member of their team who is FROM INDIA. The X guys outwork them to start until Petey gets in some stuff and makes the tag to Roode. Heintz yanks Dutt to the outside for a Canadian Beatdown. Roode goes in control back inside. Meanwhile, D’Amore loses his glasses. Dutt gets hung up and gets the Oh Canada Shattered Dreams. Young gets a top rope elbow for two. Whoa! Hold on! Did they just let Eric Young actually execute an offensive move?! Man, someone is feeling generous. Shelley gets the tag but gets thrown around by Heintz. Lethal gets a blind tag and gets a Missile Dropkick for two. Dutt and Williams come in with Williams getting a Russian leg sweep. Sabin takes care of Petey, but Young comes in and tosses him. Lethal gets a Missile dropkick on Heintz, but Heintz gets the pumphandle for the win. Pretty surprising that they gave Team Canada the win there over the X guys, but everyone was feeling it tonight so I have no problem with it. Good opener. **3/4
Winner: Team Canada

AJ Styles, Ron Killings & Rhino v. The Jobbers in the Rough
Sting’s team jump them to start and Styles and Killings get nice dueling sentons. Again must I bring it up, that Skipper should be doing the same things, get him out of this awful gimmick! Please, we’ve waited long enough! Do it! I’m not even that big of a Skipper fan. I just give credit where credit is due. The Diamonds keep Styles grounded until Killings gets the hot tag and goes to work. Everybody starts brawling everybody, and Killings gets the Axe Kick on Skipper for the win. This was nothing more than a good guys-jobber match to showcase Sting’s army, so, it wasn’t good. 1/2*
Winner: AJ Styles, Ron Killings & Rhino

– Big Slick Johnson chats with Zybysko, who is as usual equipped with the Hawaiin shirt.

– Weekly babyface Christian mic time, where he says his usual stuff. Abyss doesn’t have a set of balls, he says. He says that Abyss is scared of the fact that the Champion isn’t scared of you. James Mitchell reluctantly ends it, and allows Abyss to sneak up behind and level him and get the Black Hole Slam. He chokes him with the chain afterwards. Crowd is dead for all of this.

Jeff Jarrett & America’s Most Worthless v. Team 3-D
For those who don’t know, Spike is officially going by “Brother Runt.” Man, that’s almost as bad as Kanyon’s having to go by Chris K in his last run in TNA. Jarrett jumps Runt to start but Runt gets a series of rollups for two. Runt gets a spear and neckbreaker for two. Runt gets the top rope GROIN STOMP OF DOOM as we head to main event advertisements. We come back and things have spilled to a crowd brawl. Jarrett and Runt wind up back in the ring but Bubba comes in and slams Jarrett, then they get the Wazzup. Runt gets manhandled by Harris and falls on the short end of the Catatonic, but D’Von takes care of him. Storm gets the superkick, but Bubba gets him in the full nelson bomb. Gail Kim sneaks in a low blow on Bubba, so Runt gives him the Acid Drop. Team Canada hit the ring and nail Runt with the hockey stick poke of DEATH, and Jarrett gives him the Stroke for the win. Afterwords we get the huge brawl, as usual. *1/2
Winner: Jeff Jarrett & America’s Most Wanted

End of show.

Nothing more than your normal cookiecutter stuff for the second Thursday show.
