— The HEAT Wave takes on sort of a Money- Retro form this weekend as we take a stroll down memory lane.

– Money Inc. vs. The Natural Disasters
Erwin gives us little tips to turn in our Taxes on time. Ahh, the ‘golden years’ of the WWE. Before the match, The Nasty Boys jump Money Inc, giving the Disasters an early jump. But doesn’t last long as Money Inc. double team Typhoon in the corner for a bit. After a bit of a struggle though, Earthquake evens things up for a bit, but The Headshrinkers make their way out ringside, distracting the Disasters, putting Money back on top. Dibiase puts on the sleeper hold and gets the TKO for the win and the titles.
Winners: Money Inc.

– Razor Ramon vs. The 1-2-3 Kid
The 10,000 dollar match is in place as The Kid takes the sky early and gets the high paced moved on Roman. Eventually the size difference takes effect as Razor starts to toy around, tossing him against the ropes and knocking him down easily. Razor dominates the majority of the match setting the Razor’s Edge outside, but 1-2-3 counters it, back flipping him over, but makes the wrong move by going up top. Back in the ring, the Kid takes the bag of the money, but Razor hunts him down backstage, calling for the No contest.
Winner: No Contest

– Big John Stud vs. Andre the Giant
We got one big helleva battle hear, with two of the biggest guys at the time duke it out. Andre takes the early advantage with just sheer strength as the bear hug takes the momentum out of Stud. After the break up, there’s still no offense from Stud as Andre continues to overpower him, and just like that, Andre gets the slam to win the 15,000 dollars and the match. Andre shares the money with the fans before Heenan grabs the money with Stud and takes off.
Winner: Andre the Giant

– WrestleMania 21 Money in the Bank Ladder Match
We get back to the present time as we start the match of with Shelton and Edge battling it out on the top of the ladder as Shelton connects with the T-bone down to the bottom. Jericho is the next one to try and climb on top until Christian stops the progress. And in one of the most exiting moves of that year, Shelton run walks the slanted ladder and clotheslines Jericho of the top of the ladder. Wow. If you didn’t get to see this match, watching this segment of HEAT alone is well worth it. All hell breaks loose in the ring as Kane starts to dominate the match until Tomko walks in to set the ladder up for Captian Charisma. The slow climb begins, but Kane breaks it up, pushing Christian out of the ring. Kane and Jericho take center stage on top as this ladder also tilts out of the ring. Benoit finally makes his presence felt in the clip as he sets up the ladder close to the corner and gets on top, hitting the flying headbutt onto the fallen Kane. Crazy! Benoit is now all alone, going to the top of the ladder, but Kane sits up and the two start to duke it out on top. Benoit wins, but not the match as Edge slams the sssttteeeelll chair onto Benoit’s arm, giving Edge the chance to climb the ladder and grab the briefcase to be the first ever Mr. Money in the Bank, only to cash it in nearly a year later against Cena to win his first ever WWE World Title.
Winner: Edge

The HEAT Wave
I know I said it before, but again, if you didn’t watch that Ladder Match when it first came out, or haven’t gotten around to rent the damn thing, you need to go to WWE.com right now and check out that match. It isn’t the entire match, but it gives great cuts to what made it such a MOTY candidate. Plus a glimpse of what was to come dealing with Edge. I’m out, thanks for reading, Peace.
