There has been talk of Coach being taken out of the announce team and making him a storyline character. With him not on RAW last night, this rumor is getting stronger.
As for last night’s Joey Styles promo, people backstage were shocked that Vince and Stephanie let him say some of it on WWE TV. The general feeling, however, was that it shows a committment to the ECW project. Management was said to have liked the promo. Joey Styles wrote his own promo, and had it approved by creative department.
In other backstage news, Taboo of Black Eyed Peas was there, but Sabu – although rumored – was not.
