[WWE] Details of Heat on Randy, Kenny & Coach

– Randy Orton’s suspension — said to be 60 days, but in reality an “indefinite” one — was supposedly due to a combination of reasons. He has been a behavior problem for years, according to Dave Meltzer, and would be champion right now if not for these issues, which include calling women names, saying the wrong things to the wrong people (at Wrestlemania and otherwise), and other incidents that have led to fines up to $5000 each, which he has been heard bragging about. The incident that enflamed things in the eyes of Johnny Ace, according to Meltzer, took place in Kansas City at the arena on March 28, where “he flagrantly violated a very public company policy, and this was a lot more serious than a dress code issue, and had nothing to do with either creative or economic issues.” Whatever the incident was, it was something that others have done “as protest” but the fact that Orton’s activity was witnessed by people, including non-employees, made it even worse. He was informed of WWE’s decision after Mania, and the suspension was made public days before going into effect. Reports say that Vince and Johnny will be making a decision on Randy’s future soon, which may include counseling for his social issues and medical help if necessary. At that point, Meltzer implied, the ball would be in Orton’s court, should WWE decide to go that way. Interestingly enough, Orton went out working hard in his two jobs to Rey and Angle before the suspension kicked in, and has never really had issues with missing dates or lack of trying in-ring.

– A few weeks back there was some heat on Ken Doane down in OVW, with people letting the air out of his tires, etc., due to him getting a big head. In other news, the 20-year old member of Spirit Squad is engaged to Mickie James (26).

– There was some heat on Jonathan Coachman due to making comments about his College Sports TV job around the time of Mania to people who didn’t appreciate any allegiance other than to pro wrestling.

– The Dicks/Tolands were released partly because of an incident with Chad Wicks and Tank Toland, with Chad being ribbed by Undertaker, JBL and Chris Benoit – including possibly being teased for being gay – and the ribbing leading to a fight between the two tag partners.

– Carlito has been called “worthless” by the mainstream media, since he stays in character during interviews.
