– WrestlingObserver.com reported yesterday that Sammy “Steamboat” Mokuahi died due to complications from Alzheimer’s and diabetes at the age of 71. He was a major star in Hawaii, and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat got his name due to his resemblence to Sammy. Mokuahi held the world tag team titles in the Southeast with Eddie Graham, and also tagged with Neff Maiava for years.

– PWInsider.com says that HHH is in new Miller Lite commercials called “Man Law” and debuting on May 15.

– Billy Kidman talked to the UK Sun about his WWE release.

– Kane was interviewed about his film on IGN, and WWE.com has a story up about the world premiere this Monday.

– According to PWInsider.com, the following ad recently went out for an upcoming Diva Search tryout in NYC:

WWE is looking for women between the ages of 18 – 29, beautiful, and physically fit to be the next WWE Diva. No wrestling experience or aspirations to wrestle necessary. One lucky woman will be awarded a one year WWE talent contract worth $250,000. In addition, WWE is looking for a variety of women to fill positions on Monday night “Raw” and Friday night “Smackdown” (which pulls in an average of 5 million viewers a week): Hosts and on camera Talent.
