The Movie

I honestly don’t know what has happened to Wesley Snipes’ career, but apparently outside of Blade movies he only does straight to video movies. This is his latest offering.

Snipes plays CIA Agent Sonni Griffith, who is in Romania trying to bring down an arms dealer. While on his mission a person who works with him sells him out and now Sonni has a problem. While he is able to escape unscathed, he is sent back into the hot zone to rescue Nadia, who the arms dealer needs information from for his latest score. Shenanigans ensue while Sonni does his best to keep Nadia safe and get out of dodge. It is all pretty generic and Snipes is capable of better, but it is mildly entertaining regardless.

Snipes does the job that he always does because it seems that his characters in his movies range from badass to badder ass. Silvia Colloca is stunning but really doesn’t add much more to the film. Like I said, it is generic yet entertaining, that goes for the acting too.

The Video

1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen – Looks good to me, probably better because it is straight to DVD so there really is no comparison to be made.

The Audio

5.1 Dolby Digital – Sounds fine to me.
