Ok, after calming down from the Joey Styles mania, we’re here for another edition of HEAT: The Todd Grisham solo edition that is. Lets see how he does, it was said that Vince was pleased with the job he did at Raw. So will that lead to a RAW promotion? Eh, I doubt it… sadly we’re getting JR back. But hey, if we don’t get Styles, Grisham would definitely be better than JR.

– Charlie Hass vs. Akio
Hey we got an interesting addition here on HEAT this weekend, should be a good match. But we’ll see how they pull things off. And just as one would figure things start off fast with Hass getting the upper hand. But a HUGE knife edge chop cuts away at Hass in the corner. Charlie returns the chops to the chest as he gets a two count. Akio then goes for the high risk maneuvers and gets a missile drop kick out of the corner, but doesn’t go for the pin. Quick kicks to the head, but still no cover. Spinning heel kick is missed by Akio and Hass gets in a HUGE boot to the face and sets up the reverse DDT for the win. Wow, this WAS a good one.
Winner: Charlie Hass

– Matt Striker vs. Bryan Jennings
Did I ever mention I hate school? Well we have Matt here in a foreseeable squash match against the no entrance theory participant, Jennings. Lots of back and forth stuff here, as they actually give Jennings some offense to push into the match. But it quickly fades away as Striker starts going after the shoulder and arm of Jennings. Not much more goes on after that as Striker hits the running boot to the face in the corner to set up the connecting “Golden Rule” to end the painless match.
Winner: Matt Striker

– Big Show vs. John Moxley & Dick Rick
Hey what do you know another squash match!! Honestly, how many of you think you’re gonna see Big Show lose here on HEAT!? Suuuurrreee. Show wearing the battle scars from Kane and the way the match is going to go shows early as Show dominates both men, tossing them away and into each other. Big shots to the chest and so on. Double chokeslam is teased, but Show puts it in one by one. Match over as easy as 1-2-3.
Winner: Big Show

– Viscera vs. Lance Cade
This match shouldn’t last long either. And it sure looks that way as Viscera totally dominates the early going. Cade though, with the literally “darker” attitude as of late, takes it to Viscera with a few hard clotheslines and one from the second rope. Match slows down as Cade gets Viscera in a headlock, but walks into the arm of the big man and drops the leg on Cade. Sidewalk slam sets up the Viscagra, but Cade rolls out. Viscera trains into Cade in the corner and the match spills out. But as it does, Cade grabs the ssttteeeeeellll chair and nails Viscera over the head for the DQ.
Winner: Viscera

The HEAT Wave
An entertaining HEAT overall with a pretty good opening match I recommend to see with Akio coming back. Other than that, nothing to special, check it out. Till next time, I’m out. Peace!
