Dave Meltzer of WrestlingObserver.com said on his radio show yesterday that a Mick Foley heel turn is planned for the near future, possibly even tonight’s RAW, to freshen up the character a bit. This could be the big angle that Mick’s teased in his blog lately.
Also on the radio show, a caller asked about RVD taking on John Cena, and Dave answered that is still the plan (of course these things can always change last minute).
He speculated that a disputed finish would be the best way to end the ECW PPV, advancing the storyline of the return of ECW. One possible ending should WWE go that route rather than a clean finish, is RVD getting the win via an ECW ref counting the 1-2-3 and Vince stripping the belt from RVD the next night.
