Welcome to ‘You Complete Bar Steward!’, the column that aims to make drinking even more fun than it already is!
This is the penultimate part in “The Brandy Wars”, with next fortnight’s edition being the last time I touch on a particular type of drink for a month or two.
This week, I bring to you, you lovely, lovely reader, a Rolls Royce, a Queen Elizabeth, and Picasso.
Rolls Royce

Colour/s: Musty Orange
Ingredients
25ml Brandy (or Cognac… your choice)
25ml Cointreau
1oz Orange Juice
Equipment
Cocktail Glass
Shaker
Instructions
Put all the ingredients into the Shaker and shake well with ice. Strain the contents into the glass.

A nice and fruity aperitif.

Colour/s: Light Red
Ingredients
25ml Brandy
25ml Martini Rosso (or another red Vermouth)
25ml Triple Sec
Equipment
Cocktail Glass
Shaker
Instructions
Pour all the ingredients into the Shaker and shake well with ice. Strain the contents into the glass, over ice.

Very sweet, so all you people out there with a sweet-tooth, this is for you!

Colour/s: Dark

25ml Brandy
25ml Dubonnet
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
Dash Sugar
Equipment
Cocktail Glass
Shaker
Instructions
Pour all the ingredients into the Shaker and stir in the sugar.

This is a very unique mixture. Give it a go, it’s a pretty interesting taste.
