[SD] CORRECTION: Real Spoilers (We Were Duped)

Archive

Sorry about posting inaccurate Velocity and Smackdown spoilers early this morning — apparently linking to anything from Wrestlecrap is ill-advised (yet we’re not the only site to have fallen for the incorrect spoilers). Here are correct spoilers, first from Jared Cheeseman:

Velocity:

Matt Hardy beat Sylvan.

Gunner Scott beat a jobber.

Gregory Helms beat a jobber.

Kid Kash and Jamie Noble, doing their Pitbull gimmick, beat Scotty 2 Hotty and Funaki.

Smackdown:

Lashley beat JBL to win US Title.

Tatanka beat Simon Dean.

Mark Henry beat Chris Benoit, then destroyed him after the match.

Brian Kendrick and Paul London beat Nunzio and Vito.

Finlay beat Paul Burchill, then Shortstack (the midget wrestler) showed up.

Rey Mysterio beat JBL to retain the World Title.

When Paul Heyman was shown there, there was mostly no reaction, except for me. I marked out big time.

The coronation for Booker T was great as well.

Second set of ACCURATE spoilers, from John Marraro:

Velocity, in no particular order:

Knoble and Kash beat Scotty and Funaki with the powerbomb clothesline combo.

Matt Hardy defeated Sylvain with a twist of fate.

Gunner Scott defeated a jobber, I forget how, I was getting food.

Helms defeated a jobber with the shining wizard.

Smackdown in no particular order:

Lashley beat JBL for the US title. Decent match.

Tatanka beat Simon Dean, pretty bad match.

JBL demanded a World Title shot, and eventually got it. He said if he couldn’t beat Mysterio tonight that he’d quit Smackdown.

Booker T had a celebration that William Regal also took part in.

Backstage, Paul Heyman was shown talking to Kurt Angle, but we couldn’t hear what they were saying.

Finaly defeated Paul Birchill, nothing much here.

Three 6 Mafia played Henry’s music.
Benoit beat Mark Henry by DQ. After the match, Henry beat up on Benoit, and was carried out on a stretcher. Obviously an angle.

Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated Nunzio & Big Vito. I believe it was a non-title match

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio. Originally, JBL won, but as he was celebrating, the referee saw Mysterio’s foot on the ropes, and he ordered the match to continue. The match was restarted, and Mysterio eventually won with the 619, and west coast pop.
