– Shawn Michaels does need surgery on his left knee. At the moment it is not thought to be a serious enough injury to keep him out of the Vengeance PPV and the DX reunion, but plans may change. Also, the DX DVD due for release next month is said to have the following extras:

Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind [Raw, 11/08/97]
Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Mankind & The Undertaker [Raw, 18/08/97, inc. Rick Rude’s return]
Triple H vs. Bret Hart [Raw, 06/10/97, inc. Michaels blowing his nose on the Canadian flag]
Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H [Raw, European Title Match]
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker [Royal Rumble ’98, Casket Match]
Triple H, New Age Outlaws & Savio Vega vs. Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie [No Way Out ’98]
Owen Hart vs. Triple H [Raw, 17/03/98, European Title Match]

– Chris Masters is expected to be taken off the road for an indefinite length of time. The exact reason is unconfirmed but it is said that “the first guess would be the correct guess”.

– This year’s Diva Search will have a new format. The women will be introduced on Raw on the 10th July, then face their first challenge on Smackdown on the 14th, and then find out who is eliminated on Raw on the 17th. They will then repeat this schedule until five of the eight contestants have been eliminated. The remaining three will then be announced on a USA Network special on Thursday 17th August, airing 9-10pm.

– Ric Flair has signed a one-year extension to his current deal. Triple H was the best man at his recent wedding, with Shawn Michaels and Batista also in attendance.

– Harry Smith is said to have no problem about working a program with Shawn Michaels for next year’s Survivor Series, which will be held in Montreal on the 10th anniversary of the infamous screwjob, due to Michaels being one of the all-time great workers. Smith is scheduled to make his full on-air debut on Raw next week. Jeff Jarrett tried to sign him to TNA back in January but Smith held out for a WWE contract, something he had been mentally committed to for years.
