A huge night of OVW television was taped Wednesday Night at the Davis Arena, 4400 Shepherdsville Road in Louisville, Kentucky. In the biggest news, it appears as though Al Snow will finally wrestle in OVW, as he got into a major fight with Simon Dean after Simon wrestled someone whose name I didn’t get. This was Fit Finley and Bobby Lashley style incident, and very heated. Simon got a lot of heat, and everyone went crazy for Al finally getting involved. Great angle, can’t wait to see it on television.
In another major piece of news, CM Punk teamed with ECW’s Tommy Dreamer against Johnny Jeter and Mikey Mondo of the Spirit Squad for the World Tag Team Titles. This match was amazing, with tremendous crowd heat and everyone was sure the tag team titles were going to change hands. Just when Punk and Dreamer were going to win, Shad “The HNIC” Gaspard and The Neighborhoodie, together they are the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions, ran into the ring and destroyed Punk and Dreamer. Another very heated angle.
