ECW debuts its Sci Fi show tonight at 10pm ET, and Inside Pulse Wrestling will have LIVE Coverage from John Cavanagh starting at that time.
The show is actually being taped before Smackdown tonight instead of after, to ensure that the debut broadcast has no glitches.
Set to debut tonight in Trenton are Barbie Blank, Roadkill and Shelly Martinez. Roadkill has been tagging in OVW, and working out recently with Danny Doring; the two of them were the last ECW World Tag Champs back in 2001. Shelly has been booked as obsessed with Paul Birchill down in OVW. as well as in storylines with Seth Skyfire.
In one final bit of ECW news, ECW’s Kurt Angle has accepted Randy Orton’s challenge for a rematch at Vengeance, according to WWE.com.
Some other WWE notes: Murdoch and Cade’s unnamed opponents at the Heat tapings were Keystone Championship Wrestling‘s “The Solution” Scott Fowler and Sebastian who have worked dark matches and Heat/Velocity matches for WWE as well as for TNA in the past … WWE has added a DX page, including bios of Billy Gunn, X-Pac, Tori, Chyna, Rick Rude and Road Dogg … DX had a little fun at the Vengeance press conference with Shawn Michaels saying that they’ve matured and moved on while HHH did things like give Todd Grisham a wedgie, mooning the crowd, etc. … Also at the press conference, Charlotte Bobcats star Gerald Wallace spoke, talking about how big a WWE fan he is.
