Rage in a cage
By Louie Dee

The Blue Ridge Mountains better prepare for some rage in the cage when Friday Night SmackDown rolls into Roanoke, Va.

Since colliding in the King of the Ring tournament last month, Bobby Lashley and King Booker have been at each other’s throats. Over the past six weeks they have clashed four times, with each man winning twice. Last week, it was Booker who was victorious by disqualification when Lashley was forced to use a chair to fend off a 3-on-1 attack.

Every time Lashley and Booker have met, the King’s Court (Queen Sharmell, William Regal & Finlay) have gotten involved in some way. In Roanoke, however, that won’t be a problem, as General Manager Theodore Long has ordered that the United States Champion and the King hook it up inside a Steel Cage. With the unforgiving steel keeping Booker’s backup at bay, will Lashley finally vanquish his royal pain once and for all?

Also last week, The Great Khali continued to destroy everything in his path by wiping out both Tatanka and Simon Dean. He went on to cross Dean’s arms over his chest and mock Undertaker’s signature taunt, surely infuriated the missing Deadman. Will Khali claim more victims this week?

Plus, Gregory Helms will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Super Crazy. Crazy has been having issues with partner Psicosis in recent weeks, and the two even came to blows after a loss last Friday night. Will Crazy be 100 percent focused on the task at hand? And if not, can Helms exploit that to his advantage and walk out of Roanoke with the gold still around his waist?
