The eight finalists in this year’s Diva Search contest have been selected. The entrants are far less known than in previous years and, as always, knew little about the wrestling industry. The most well-known wrestling names among the 75 women that remained in the contest before the latest cut were The Rock, Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan. The finalists are:
Maryse Ouellet, 23, from Montreal (originally New Brunswick). She is said to be the early favourite and the most knowledgeable about wrestling. She is a big-breasted blond and was on a recent Playboy cover.
Milena Roucka, 26, from Vancouver. Other than the obvious name issues with Melina, she appears in the Bodog.com commercial as the woman ready to play card shark till she learns Calvin Ayre is at the table. She also appeared in a Trident commercial and was the 2005 Ms Indy 500.
Layla El, originally from the UK, is an NBA team dancer for Miami Heat and also appeared in Playboy.
Jennifer Walcott, 29, is another former Playboy cover girl and has appeared on MTV’s Wild On in addition to covers of Muscle And Fitness Hers, Iron Man and more.
Rebecca DiPietro is a former stripper who won a Miss Hawaiian Tropics contest in 1999, representing Mexico.
Jennifer England, from Lansing, MI, was a 2001 finalist in a Venus Model Search, a model on The Price Is Right in 2002, and is the sports fan on Bikini.com.
The other two are J.T. Tinney from Phoenix and Amy Zidani from Orlando.
