[ECW] Shoot Comments From RVD, Rhino, Dreamer & More

Rhino’s shoot promo from last night’s TNA iMPACT! can be found on TNAWrestling.com and YouTube uncut. He had some intersting things to say, and it was an intense promo.

As previously reported, Rhino turned down a chance to return to WWE, as part of the new ECW roster, in order to re-sign with TNA Wrestling. Spoiler reports from Monday’s iMPACT! tapings said that Rhino cut a promo for the audience only about how he still has the REAL ECW World and Television titles if Vince wants to try to take them from him.

Former ECW and WWE Champion Rob Van Dam posted the following on his Web site RobVanDam.com:

Well, it’s going to be difficult to think of reasons not to clean out the garage now. Looks like I have a little more time on my hands.

Hmm… you think this website’s getting a lot of hits?

Fans and friends in Battle Creek, sorry once again. I’ve never wrestled in front of my hometown my whole career, and it looks like that will remain the case for now…

Hey, it looks like I’ll have time to go see that Superman movie!

Super.

ECW.com has also updated its commentary, including Tazz’ audio report, Joey Styles’ Most Extreme Player of the week (where he names Big Show MEP, and includes this fun paragraph: Obviously, this week’s Most Extreme Player is not my bud Rob Van Dam. On two consecutive nights, RVD saw both his WWE and ECW Championship reigns go up in smoke. Considering that both losses took place in the same arena, Philadelphia’s Wachovia Center, you can bet the Rob Van Dam was happy to be rid of that joint”¦at least for now.), and this below rant from Tommy Dreamer:

Diary of Violence – 7/8/06
By Tommy Dreamer

TO ALL ECW FANS:

I TAKE IT UPON MYSELF TO APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT HAPPENED THIS WEEK.

I CANNOT TRULY EXPRESS MY FEELINGS.

I AM ANGRY, PISSED OFF AND TOTALLY FRUSTRATED ABOUT WHAT I HAVE BEEN SEEING IN ECW.

I NEED TO SIT BACK AND DIGEST ALL OF THIS.

IF I WRITE ABOUT WHAT IS IN MY HEAD, MY COLUMN WILL PROBABLY NO LONGER EXIST.

SORRY.

ECW.com has also posted interviews with Test and other ECW Extremists, talking about the return to Philadelphia, and is promoting Sabu vs. Big Show for this Sunday’s house show in Green Bay, WI.
