Here is the official word on TNA’s Sting DVD, due to be released on 10th October:

TNA camera crews were at Sting’s home in California this past week for a two-day shoot, which saw the wrestling legend record several hours of footage about his life and career.

During the shoot, Sting gave his candid comments on a wide variety of subjects, including his early years in the sport, the rise and fall of WCW, religion in his life, his family, coming to TNA, the future of the business and so much more! Sting also offers candid comments on such names as Ric Flair, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash, Bret Hart and many more of the personalities he’s worked with.

In addition, the wrestling legend offered TNA cameras a rare look into his vast collection of wrestling memorabilia, including never-before-seen photos and ring gear he has worn over his career.

“The Sting release is probably the most important DVD project I’ve ever been involved in, both personally and professionally,” said Bill Banks, who produces TNA’s line of home videos. “When we (Banks and fellow producer Simon Edwards) sat down with Sting to discuss the project, we wanted to make it special. Our competitor may own the footage of Sting’s history inside the ring, so we thought it was important to give the fans something they can’t – the man behind the facepaint. We want this to be Sting’s lasting legacy to all the fans that supported him over the years, and I’m confident everyone will enjoy it.”

“Sting: Return Of An Icon” is the first Sting DVD release in nearly a decade and is a comprehensive look at the career of the wrestling legend from the man himself. The DVD will include two major parts – the first being an extensive look back at his career, the second being his return to TNA.
