[SD] More Wrestlers Suspended, Hospitalized & More!

Archive

In news that will no doubt increase subscriptions to his newsletter, Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com has reported that:

– Super Crazy was originally booked to face Gregory Helms for the Cruiserweight Championship, but was taken off of the active roster due to — guess — health reasons related to his liver.

– Kid Kash is expected to be suspended after tomorrow’s Smackdown taping.

– Due to the roster issues on Smackdown, Finlay is expected to turn face.

– Kristal Marshall was hospitalized after the bra & panties match, for undisclosed reasons.

– Ken Kennedy’s bleeding was caused hardway, not due to blading.

In other news, Doug Basham’s name has been removed from the WWE.com Smackdown Superstars page; ditto Danny Basham from RAW. This is likely due to their impending move to the ECW roster.

We’ll have more on Smackdown and other WWE news later today. In the meantime, post your thoughts on whether or not the Friday night brand is jinxed here.
