– A day after YouTube had posted video of Big Show and Batista hugging in the ring after the cameras stopped rolling, WWE.com interviewed the former World Champion here. In it, Batista talks about NY ECW fans, how he feels about getting booed and more.

– PWInsider is reporting that the feeling within TNA is that Spike TV will be giving them more TV time at some point, and TNA has even gone as far as discussing how it would work financially and logistically.

– Matt Morgan was backstage at this week’s TNA taping; Jim Cornette has been high on him since his work in OVW.

– Tickets for Bound for Glory, which takes place on PPV October 22, go on sale this Saturday.

– According to PWInsider, Jake Roberts is not coming into TNA. This contradicts past reports from other sources. I guess time will tell…

– PWInsider is reporting that “it is pretty well known within WWE, at least by those that understand how ECW should be booked, that they need their own television tapings instead of being part of the Smackdown shows.” According to the site, the crowd reaction on Tuesday further made this point to WWE management, with the “special” crowd even impressing upon anti-ECW members of WWE. There has been talk that after the initial 12-week run on Sci Fi is over, ECW will indeed have its own tapings, but this is not final.

– This week’s ECW was back in the top-rated slot for Sci Fi, and was the top prime time show for male teens that night.

– Today’s Pioneer Press reports that “Former [Minnesota] Gophers NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion Brock Lesnar has been vigorously training near his home in Independence for an ‘ultimate fighting’ match in October in Las Vegas. Former heavyweight boxer Scott LeDoux is training Lesnar, a former professional wrestler, for boxing, and Lesnar also has a mentor to help him improve his kicking skills.” According to WrestlingObserver.com, following the legal settlement with WWE, Lesnar is “allowed to do anything he wants” with regards to things he’s publicly talked about.

– JBL’s latest video segment on WWE.com is here.
