The 27th July edition of Impact did a 0.76 rating with 935,000 viewers. However, in the key Males 18-34 demographic, the show did a 0.67. Ratings have been on a slow but steady decrease since losing the UFC lead-in. This was expected, yet the target demographic was up to 1.52 on UFC nights and seeing it cut almost in half does not help TNA’s case for a second hour of Impact, or for a primetime slot on another night.

The first quarter opened at 0.74, with the finish of the Williams/Devine/Dutt/Shark Boy match and the Christian promo going up to 0.77. The Young/James Gang vs. A1/AMW and the Nash/Shelley segment went up to a 0.82, yet the show fell to a 0.72 for the heavily promoted Joe/Rhino match, which is a big disappointment for TNA.

The “Women of Spike” special that Spike TV aired in place of UFC Unleashed that night did just 0.61. The first segment, which focused on UFC All Access host Rachelle Leah, did a 0.82, the best of the evening. Subsequent segements, which included the likes of Gail Kim and Christy Hemme, fell as low as 0.47.

The Impact replay on the 29th July did the regular 0.6 rating.

ECW on the 25th July did a 2.36 rating with 2.87 million viewers – the second best number since the start of the show. This is even more impressive when noted that it was the first show to not feature a main event created from an angle on Raw or Smackdown.

The show did 2.2 for Sandman vs. Knox and Fertig vs. Guido, gained 122,000 for Mahoney vs. Credible, and then gained 851,000 for Show vs. Kane, which peaked at a 3.0 rating in the overrun.
