[MISC] Notes on Ashley, Hardy Boyz, RAW on Sci Fi, Kennedy & More

Archive

– Tonight at 10pm ET on USA is the Diva Search finals, from the former WWF New York — now Hard Rock Cafe — in New York City.

– Tazz and Max Kellerman are hosting a call-in talk show on 92.3 Free FM in New York from 10pm-2am tonight and tomorrow night, which according to PWInsider is an on-air tryout.

– Zap2It.com is listing Monday Night RAW as airing on Sci Fi at 9pm ET. The show is also airing on USA Network at 11pm after the network’s US Open coverage that was originally to block RAW from airing live. PWInsider.com says that this is in large part due to the ratings success wrestling has had on Sci Fi via ECW.

– Speaking of which, also from PWInsider, ECW last night got a 2.3 cable rating (4 share) to be the highest-rated show on basic cable for the night. The show did quarter hours of 2.2, 2.2, 2.2, 2.1 and a 2.5 overrun.

– According to Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com, last night’s Kurt Angle angle was based on reality, as while he awaits his medical prognosis, he still wanted to compete last night. He privately admitted it would have been a challenge.

– OVW will no longer be shown in the Lexington, KY area once The CW network launches, according to PWInsider.

– Ken Kennedy is in an indie movie, a clip of which you can see here.

– Edge was on Comedy Central’s “Mind of Mencia” this week, and you can see that clip here.

– The Hardy Boyz will reunite… for an autograph session at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa on October 11 at New York Sportsworks. Ashley will also be doing a signing there, along with John Cena, this Friday, according to her MySpace.
