– According to PWInsider.com, The Diva Search special, which aired Wednesday on USA, got a 1.9 cable rating (3.0 share). In comparison, this week’s TNA iMPACT! got a 0.9 (2.0 share) with the first episode since UFC was brought back as its lead-in.

– According to WrestlingObserver.com, WWE usually releases Pay Per View buyrates 2-4 weeks after the shows, yet none has been released since May — coincidentally the same month the Gracie vs. Hughes UFC PPV got 600,000 buys in the U.S., beating out Wrestlemania’s U.S. buys.

– WWE has signed Charles “The Hammer” Evans and Anthony “Boris Alexiev” Carelli to developmental deals. Both men have been training at Ohio Valley Wrestling, and Carelli is best known as the student Jim Cornette slapped for not reacting appropriately to the Boogeyman at an OVW TV taping just before Cornette was let go by WWE.

– Dave Meltzer is reporting that a TLC match for the WWE Title will headline Unforgiven, with Edge facing Cena in Toronto.

– Also from Meltzer, Bob Orton’s sister and Randy’s aunt Rhonda Orton is planning to spreading her recently-passed father’s ashes on Mount Charleston, near Las Vegas, next April during Cauliflower Alley weekend, and all wrestlers are invited.

– There is a feature story on WWE Intercontinental Champion (and Tough Enough 3 co-champ) in the Ottawa Sun. He also gives his Summerslam predictions in the Calgary Sun.
