[WWE] Notes on New ECW Talent, RAW & SD Ratings & More

– Last Friday’s Smackdown did a 2.1 broadcast rating, with a 4 share, according to PWInsider.com. Also, last night’s RAW did a 4.1 cable rating, with a 6.3 share and hours of 3.9 and 4.2, and the August 22 AM RAW got a 0.5 cable rating (2.2 share).

– PWInsider also reports that Kurt Angle did not work last night’s ECW show in Altoona, PA due to his groin tear, after originally being slated to work a quick match to test the injury. Hardcore Holly and Matt Striker made their ECW debuts on the show, although they are still listed on WWE.com’s Superstars pages.

– WWE.com has posted footage of Edge getting helped out of the Long Island Sound last night, as well as “exclusive footage” of Randy Orton running down Hulk Hogan during a commercial break from RAW last night. Also, Jeff Hardy’s bio has yet to be added to WWE.com’s RAW Superstars page, while recently “fired” Mick Foley’s is still there.
