Kurt Angle’s release sent waves of shock and surprise through all three WWE locker rooms Friday night.
“He was a leader,” said Christopher W Anderson of ECW. “He was a captain.” Christopher smirked a bit after that statement.
“Kurt is the best wrestler alive today,” said RVD. “He’ll be back soon. This ship can’t sail without its captain.” RVD started giggling, but was elbowed in the gut and hushed by Sabu.
“OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN, WHERE ART THOU MY CAPTAIN?” Triple H screamed while Shelton Benjamin and Carlito were laughing hysterically.
Angle, whom many of the wrestlers had taken to calling ‘Captain OxyContin’, will surely be offered a TNA contract as of five minutes after his release. Whether he will take the time to heal and return to the WWE or go down to Orlando and defeat Monty Brown in his first match is a question that will be answered in the near future.
Whatever happens, we here at InsidePulse have always hated Kurt Angle and we’re glad he’s gone.
