— The August Update v.3: Yes, the schedule bug hit again- and hard. To top it off, school started this past week and ironically enough I got sick. However, it seems like things are “maybe” slowing down around my life so hopefully my schedule will be a little less hectic by next week. Which leaves us to the 1 week countdown (and a special 3 days till Wednesday).

– Shelton Benjamin vs. Rob Conway
Shelton doesn’t want to wrestle Conway because Conway doesn’t measure up. And for some reason, “ASS” is censored on the INTERNET!!!??? Can anyone explain that to me? Conway is obviously confused to as he just starts to attack Benjamin. I guess Conway is playing the face in this match. Conway takes Shelton out in the outside and takes him out of the ring altogether.

But as the match tries to move back in, Conway hits a nice kick to the side of Conway’s head, and the match spills outside once more for a while. Back body drop and a few rights to the face follow up for Benjamin. Hard Irish whip to the ropes only gets two! Choke with the boot continues to keep Conway down.

Second wind follows up however as Conway gets a few straight right hands into the gut of Benajamin. And we get a little back and forth tussle until Conway tries what seems to be a neckbreaker, but is countered by Shelton to get the pin with the assist of the ropes.
Winner: Shelton Benajamin

– Snitsky vs. Phil Friedman
I am pleased to bring you tonight’s Squash Match of the night. The jobber actually is a pretty big, hefty guy… but common, who are we kidding here!? Absolutely no offense from Friedman as Snitsky hits the big boot for the win.
Winner: Snitsky

– [RAW] Recap
A big special thanks to Mark Neely for covering for me for RAW. So instead of me rehashing anything half ass, just check his column out, The Neeldown RAW Rant. And hit the guy up with some props!!!! No chairs please.

– Val Venis vs. Viscera
From the squash match to the MAIN EVENT!!! In which I deem the pimp match, however having Hass follow Viscera to the ring kind of lowers the standards a bit, if there were standards to begin with. Venis tries to go toe-to-toe until he pokes the eyes of Viscera. We get the 10 punch count in the corner, but Viscera quickly flattens Venis. Big scoop slam by Viscera follows it up. While Grisham asks what happened to the happy-go-lucky guy a few weeks ago to the mean spirited one we see now. Grisham, I can answer that for you in one word: women!

Viscera still large and in charge of the match with a hard chop to the chest with a back body drop onto Venis. Falling elbow drop onto the back of Venis which goes into a toss against the ropes and drops Val once more.

Venis finally gets in some straight arms but is put down once more with a sidewalk slam. Visagra is attempted, but Venis holds onto the boot of Viscera, giving him some time to ram Viscera into the topes. An extra whip is denied and Viscera train wrecks into the corner and a school boy roll up only gets two for Venis. Flying clothesline connects for Val as he goes up once more for the money shot, but is distracted by Hass to give Viscera time to hit a spinning heel kick and a big splash for the win.
Winner: Viscera

The HEAT Wave
What do you know, I sit out a weekend and I come back to two decent matches! Maybe I should do that more often, HAHA. And if you want to see what I mean, as usual move that mouse and click here… no actually, right HERE. Again, hopefully I’ll be back soon with RAW, until then I’m out. Peace!
