The RAW Events

— Yes I’m back. Its been a very long and stressful month, and sadly I’m not completely out of the woods yet. So just wanted to put in a few quick things: I’m trying my best to shake things up here on the Events to make it look better. Plus, trying to make my job a bit more easier on myself too. Things are not all completely finished yet, but over the next few weeks you’ll see some changes and new things. So feel free to let me know what you think.

And thanks to Mark Neely for sitting in for me here on RAW.

The MAIN Events
Intercontinental Title Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Nitro w/ Melina (Champ)
Nice way to start off my return to RAW huh? Big Hardy chant starts things off as both guys measure each other up. A few pinning combinations for Hardy get the near falls. And reverse heel kick gets Nitro out of the ring.

Back from break, Nitro has Hardy in a chin lock on the mat. And its all Nitro from here as he sets up with a back suplex for two! More work on the back as Nitro shoves his knee in and takes a few clubs into the area as well. Back breaker and Russian leg sweep for another two!

We go up top for a superplex, but is reversed into a back drop for Hardy. Jeff gets his second wind and Hardy takes Nitro down with a few clotheslines, before going for a leg drop pin for two! Roll up for two! Hardy runs up top to hit the whisper in the wind for another two! Twist of fate connects and Melina hits the ref to get the DQ. Hardy continues and hits a face buster with a Swanton follow up. Interesting match.
Winner: DQ- Jeff Hardy

– Chris Masters vs. Super Crazy
Dammit, my second match and I get this jackass. Why-why-why!?? Well the silver lining in this is that Super Crazy makes his RAW debut. Again, I really don’t like Masters. Super Crazy wins with the flying moonsault.
Winner: Super Crazy

– Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade vs. Charlie Hass & Viscera vs. The Highlanders
Murdoch and Cade get pancaked in the corner by Viscera. Giving Hass the chance to roll up Murdoch, but Robby jumps from over the top ropes to roll up Hass for the pin to win the number 1 contender spot against the Spirit Squad at Unforgiven. Match was a real mess at the beginning with all three teams going in and out of the ring against each other.
Winner: The Highlanders

– Edge, Lita, & Randy Orton vs. Carlito, Trish, & John Cena
Cena and Orton start off the match (WM 22 preview!?) and Cena takes the entire advantage, tagging in Carlito to pick up the pieces. Orton manages to tag in Edge, but things go no different as Carlito takes him out as well and tags Cena. Lita gets the tag and Trish goes in.

Cat fight between the two ensue. Roll up gets two for Trish as she slaps Orton across the face with the face team clearing the ring as we go to break.

Back from the break, the tables have turned as Orton and Edge are on top. Carlito gets ambushed from the apron by Lita as she chokes him out. A few rights from Edge follow up, but Carlito fires back with a few hard chops to the chest. More double team from Edge and Cena keep Carlito at bay. Carlito finally fires back with a jumping kick that takes both men off of their feet while Edge takes out Cena at the apron. Lita and Trish are tagged in, but everything breaks loose as Cena runs back into the ring.

Carlito saves Trish from a spear, but Orton hits the RKO on Trish to give Lita the pin.
Winner: Edge, Lita, & Randy Orton

Quick HEAT
— Edge opens up the show with all the ingredients of TLC in the ring along with the “R-rated” title. Edge reminds us that Cena will go to Smackdown and the new CW network when he loses at Unforgiven. We get an rated R Unforgiven trailer.

Cena then comes out of nowhere and FU’s Edge through the table! Knocking over the ladder and throwing the chair on top of Edge before walking out.

— Trish confronts Lita backstage and challenges for the Women’s title at Unforgiven. Confrontation spills out into a brawl that brings Carlito and Orton at each other until everything is broken up.

— Shane sets up a huge main EVENT tonight in a six-man tag match with Carlito, Trish, and Cena against Orton, Lita, and Edge.

— Vince and Shane make their way down to the ring along with ECW champion the Big Show. We go over the same old song and dance as “The McMahon’s hate DX” “The hired gun to take out DX” etc. etc. Sigh.

DX comes out with their game faces and take out the 10+ security guards ringside with a chair and sledgehammer as Show and the McMahon’s run out.

— Ric Flair pops to the Atlanta crowd and gets a huge lip lock with Maria. Out comes AAE demanding Flair to call Umaga “The Man”.

Umaga and Kane make their way out and things go crazy. Kane gets the upper hand and kicks Umaga out of the ring, setting off with his flames.

— New team Cryme Tyme!? Umm… ok.

RAW Analysis
— Decent show that really sets up the Unforgiven PPV. The Edge intro segment was good and reminded us of the match to come. The main event backed it up even more with it setting up another match on the card. Nothing to bad and little DX- McMahon at this point is a good thing. Anyways… look for more changes to come, with an updated match rankings, a new addition to the Events, and more adjustments. Thanks for coming back!! Till the next NEW EVENT, I’m out. Peace.

And again, another SPECIAL THANKS to MARK NEELY for stepping in for me during my off month! Make sure you check out his stuff daily, if not weekly here on the Pulse.
