Riding the Pine…Power Rankings
Here are the most updated power rankings. Records and stats are thru games played Monday, September 4.
– Record is based of wins and losses (on pace for is winning pct times 162).
– Pythagorean is based off Bill James’s theory for record by runs (scored and allowed). The standard deviation for this is 3 wins.
– System is where the minor league teams of the organization rate. This is my own estimate, based off player and team performances.
– E-mail or post in the forums questions, concerns, and opinions about the rankings.

I’ve started working on my Hall Of Fame piece. I’ve received about 10 players, but would be willing to take more. E-mail me names of current/former players (no young players please) that you either think should be in the hall, or player who you think are borderline. I’ll tell you if they should.
