Johnny Nitro (c) (w/ Melina) vs. Jeff Hardy – Intercontinental Title
Back and forth to start, including a load of arm drags. Jeff with a 10 punch count on the turnbuckle, and Nitro drops down, sitting in the corner, and Jeff hits a mule kick, then goes up for a Swanton, but Nitro rolls outside. Jeff then baseball slides Nitro, then runs the wall on the outside, clotheslining Nitro. Jeff rolls Nitro in the ring, and goes up top, but Nitro dropkicks him off the top. Nitro starts working over Jeff’s knee, and does so for about 5 minutes. Nitro goes up to the top, and misses a corkscrew moonsault. Jeff back up, beats down Nitro, and nails a Whisper in the Wind. Nitro kicks out at 2. Nitro goes up, and tries a leaping hurracanranna off the top, but Jeff catches him and nails a powerbomb. Jeff shoves Nitro into Melina, who is on the apron, and she falls, apparently spraining her ankle. Both men are down, Nitro distracts the ref, and Melina clocks Jeff in the head with her boot, and Nitro rolls over for the pin.

Jeff Hardy walks into his brother Matt backstage, and they start chatting, until Lita rolls up, and we have a Team Xtreme reunion. Lita then runs them down, saying neither one of them will ever be a champion like her and Edge.

Umaga (w/ Armando) vs. KANE
Typical super heavyweight match. Umaga hits his ass-to-face in the corner spot early, and Armando calls for the Spike, but KANE blocks it, and nails a shot to the throat. KANE nails the top rope clothesline. They then start fighting through the outside, and they get counted out.
No Contest

They keep fighting through the crowd, then back to the set, and then into the back.

Mr. McMahon backstage with Shane. He wants to do a lot of the dirty work in tonight’s match.

Spirit Squad (c) vs. The Highlanders – World Tag Team Titles
Mikey & Kenny are representing the Squad. Very short match. Squad cheats a lot, and keeps the belts.
Winners – Spirit Squad.

Shane McMahon, Mr. McMahon & The Big Show vs. D-Generation X – Hell in a Cell
Show tells the Mac’s that he has it cover, but DX both kicks him in the nuts, and he goes down. They then both start taking apart a McMahon. Both Mac’s are bleeding already, with both guys grating a McMahon on the cage. Show back up, and he starts beating down DX, and now the Mac’s are back up, and it’s a mauling. Show sets up HHH, and Shane hits the Coast to Coast. Shane lifts up HHH, and hits a backbreaker out of a torture rack. DX crotches Show on the ring post, and they get in the ring, and HHH nails a huge spinebuster on Shane. HHH then wraps a chair around Shane’s head, and HBK nails an elbow drop off the top on the chair. Show brings the top of the ringsteps in the ring, but HHH slaps the steps with a chair, then cracks Show over the head. DX then puts show over the top rope, take his shorts down, and shoves Vince’s face into Show’s ass. HHH gets a sledgehammer and cracks Vince in the back of the head, then scores the pin.

Lita (c) vs. Trish Stratus – Woman’s Title
They brawl to the outside to start, and Trish hits a Lou Theiz press on the from the apron to the floor. Back in the ring, Trish goes for a Stratusfaction, but Lita lifts her over the top. Lita brings Trish back in, and she goes for a moonsault, but Trish moves. Trish goes for another Stratusfaction, Lita reverses it again, but this time Trish slides behind her, rolls up Lita, then locks on the Sharpshooter, and Lita taps.
Winner and NEW Champ – Trish Stratus

Orton wishes Trish luck, but then says that no one cares, because she’s Canadian.

Randy Orton vs. Carlito Caribbean Cool
Back and forth to start, Carlito goes for a Asai moonsault, but Orton ducks it, only for Carlito to dropkick him. Orton lines up for a RKO, but Carlito hits a backcraker. Carlito goes for the Cool Whip (Test Drive, Roll the Dice), but Orton reverses it. Carlito goes for a springboard clothesline, but Orton grabs him, and nails an RKO in mid-air for the pin.
Winner – Randy Orton

Recap of Edge/Cena.

Edge (c) vs. John Cena – TLC Match – WWE Title
Edge dominates to start. He hits Cena in the gut with a chair, then sets up 2 chairs, and hits a Slop Drop through the 2 chairs! Edge props Cena up on the ropes, with his face outside, and he slams a ladder in Cena’s face, then props it up, and dropkicks the ladder in Cena’s face! Cena fights back, hits a hip toss, putting Edge on a ladder. Cena puts a table in the ring, but Edge tries a sunset powerbomb through it, and it is botched. Cena off the ropes, and Edge with a powerslam right through the table. Cena rolls to the outside, and Edge runs up a propped up ladder and leaps on Edge! Both men back in the ring, and Cena hits the Throwback, with Edge going face first into a chair. Cena brings a ladder in the ring, and traps Edge in it, then locks on the STFU. Cena sets up a ladder, and hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle off the ladder. Cena sets up a table, but Edge slaps him in the head with a chair. Cena is out on top of the table, and Edge grabs another table, and puts in on top of the one that Cena is on, then goes up to the top rope, but Cena gets up, and shoves Edge to the floor. Cena gets the big ladder from under the ring, and Edge is back and spears Cena off the ladder. Edge climbs the ladder, but Cena grabs him and powerbombs him into an upright ladder. Edge on the floor, Cena slaps him with a chair, and starts to climb the ladder, but Lita runs in, and shoves the ladder, and Cena hits the floor through a table. Edge starts to climb, Cena back in, but Lita hits him in the back with a chair, and he falls toward the ladder, shoving the ladder, and Edge flew to the outside through 2 tables. Cena grabs Lita, and hits her with a FU. Cena climbs, Edge is back in, climbs the ladder, both men at the top, slugging away, and Cena grabs Edge, and puts him on his shoulders. Cena then tosses Edge off the ladder in a FU, and Edge crashed through a stack of ladders. Cena grabs the belt.
Winner and NEW Champ – John Cena
