— The launch of Inside Pulse V3 is upon us. And I for one would like to welcome you loyal readers. Hope everyone likes the new format as it’s a different one that will separate us from everyone else, for the better! But don’t fear all your favorite writers, columns, and rants are still here”¦ and me. So anyway, what’s the fall out of Unforgiven last night- well lets just say I’m no longer in an R-Rated mood. Damn it.

Hosts: Jerry “The King” Lawler & Jim Ross

Umaga vs. Kane
Match is a brawl from the get go as the ref gets knocked outside, with Kane taking advantage. However AAE throws in a chair and Umaga levels out Kane, but only gets the 1-2 as another ref runs in to count as we head to break.

Back in Umaga hits a HUGE Samoan drop on Kane reeling him to the corner. Umaga rushes Kane, but Kane reverses into an elbow, slugging it away with a few clotheslines. Two fail to take Umaga down, but a shoulder block hits as Kane rallies the crowd. Kane hangs Umaga over the tope rope and sets up a steel chair. But Umaga slices away first and gets back the advantage for a while until Umaga runs into the corner post. Top rope clothesline connects for Kane and CHOKESL”¦ err, CHAIR. AAE tries to hit off Kane, but to no avail as Kane nails Umaga 3 times with the ssttteeeeellll chair as he finally hits the mat. Kane then goes after AAE, running him to the back.
Winner: DQ- Umaga

Johnny vs. Ric Flair
Surprisingly enough, Johnny stays up with Flair for a bit, until he misses a top rope move and Flair takes out the knee. Flair starts targeting it as he puts in a few kicks to set up the figure four. Johnny reverses into a roll-up, but Flair reverses that into his own pin and hits up the 1-2-3.
Winner: Ric Flair

Intercontinental Title Match: Randy Orton vs. Nitro vs. Chris Masters vs. Carlito vs. Super Crazy vs. Jeff Hardy
Match is too crazy to call, plus we missed the beginning of it since RAW cut to commercial. Oh not to forget and mention, Masters is in it. High spots though hit when Nitro springboards outside and misses the bodies. Jeff, Orton, Masters, and Carlito stomp away until Super Crazy flies off the top rope himself and takes out all five men.

Orton and Nitro work together then Randy gives him the RKO”¦ other wrestlers finishers follow up, as Hardy hits the swanton and Nitro pulls him out to take the win. Nice match actually.
Winner: Nitro

Candace Michelle vs. Lita
Lita slugs away at Michelle, looking to have no problem what-so-ever. Note: Michelle’s wrestling shirt makes it look at she’s about to lose her top any second. Candace finally stops the hurting and hits Lita with a spinning kick. Match spills to the outside and Lita shoves Candace’s back into the apron.

Back in the ring Lita gets a 2 count! Suplex for Lita gets another 2! “You can’t wrestle chant!” starts up. More beat down for Candace continues waaaaay to long, eating up precious time. Mickey walks out as Lita goes up top, and Michelle hits the powerbomb to pick up the win over Lita.
Winner: Candace Michelle

Edge, Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade vs. John Cena & D-Generation X
Interesting how they don’t mention a peep about the history of HHH & Cena, but they keep on saying how this is history how Cena is teaming with DX. Um, ok. Cena is the first to go against the cowboy team (did I mention I hate cowboys). Cena takes out Cade and tags in HBK. Chances reverse however as Cade tags in Murdoch, setting him up for a huge kick to the face to take out Shawn.

Edge gets the tag and picks up the pieces of Michaels. Murdoch gets back in after some showboating from Edge, and Trevor starts to choke HBK out. Back body work from Murdoch continues on Shawn as Edge gets tagged back in. But Murdoch quickly follows back in a fresh fast tags are the game plan right now.

HBK finally fights out as he gets a back body drop on Murdoch, and takes out Cade with an insiguri (is that how it’s spelled?) HBK tags in HHH and hits a few rights on Edge, high knee to Murdoch, and a face buster back on Edge. Pedigree is broken up, but HHH hits a spine buster before getting nailed with the sstttteeeeelll chair. HBK takes advantage and uses the chair himself, DQ-ing the team. DX- Cena clear the ring, leaving Edge alone as Edge eats a sweet chin, pedigree to bury the former champ. Ouch, not good to look at.
Winner: DQ- Edge, Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade

————————————————-

— Cena walks out to a HUGE chorus of boos with a smug smile on his face. He tries to talk, but the boos continue. He uses the “champ is here” phrase as the champ gets more boos making it unable for him to talk. He says the feud between Cena and Edge has come to an end, cue Edge’s music to a GIANT pop.

Edge says that Cena’s win last night was like his entire career”¦ a FLUKE (cheers). Cena says he saw hunger and fire within Edge last night which he respects. Cena tells Edge can either A) Go screw himself or B) Have another WWE Title re-match right now as Cena gets his first cheer tonight.

Edge turns on the crowd and says this isn’t Canada- as this is the cheese eating, wine drinking inbread cousin of Canada; Montreal. So he doesn’t want his rematch here tonight. In comes Murdoch and Cade to trash Cena, cue DX to make the save and Coach walks out to set up the six-man tag match for the main event.

— Shelton Benajamin gets a video segment to wish his best to Vince as he starts to complain about his chances because”¦ gasp, he’s black. However Coach takes him off to apologize. OOOOkay.

— Backstage Kane is still beating up on AAE. He says that Umaga has a spike, but Kane has a spike of his own. But before he could use it, Umaga makes the save and quickly takes out Kane before he sits up with a laughter.

— HOT Maria has her video interview to Vince. Acts her usual “bimbo-ish” until Spirit Squad walks out. They announce they are STILL the tag team champs as Johnny challenges Ric Flair to a match dedicated to Vince.

I have officially now declared Maria as the official model for the RAW EVENTS. So to celebrate this glorious news, let’s take a look at ‘Events’ newest (and lovely) representative:

— Lita gets the video next and tries to convince him about getting back the Women’s title. James walks in to her segment and calls Trish a classy champ as she says it’s such a great way to go out on top as a champion, instead of being on top of a champion. Lita takes offense and slaps Mickey off her feet.

— Randy Orton makes his way down the ring. Orton shows off his battle scars from last night on his face. He calls his performance last night one of the most courage’s ones ever. Cue Nitro with Melina. Nitro hits up on Orton that he doesn’t have title and calls him all talk. Orton says he could take his title whenever he wants to and can take his girl the same way. Oy, and here comes Masters to FUCK up the segment.

Carlito comes out and tries to save things as he begins the brawl between all four men. But here comes Super Crazy to the ring as well as Jeff Hardy and it seems that we have the entire Raw mid-card in the ring. Coach breaks things up and announces that all 6 men will be in the ring, to each its own, and whoever walks out- walks out with the IC strap.

— Cryme Tyme video: driving lessons.

— Coach does his little video, but DX interrupts. Giving us a video tribute that they put together of DX vs. McMahon. After the video, they show DX putting water on their eyes to make it seem as if they were crying. Both are sarcastically sad that it’s over. Something about tossing Big Show’s salad, and suck it!!

— Edge’s lackeys pep talk Edge before heading out to the ring.

————————————————-

— Was it me, or was this a heavy packed RAW tonight? But we got some pretty entertaining things, including (yes) the Umaga/ Kane match, the IC title match, and an alright main event. Plus it finally gave us the time needed for the WWE title feud instead of being heavy dosed with the DX/McMahon angle again. But the dismantling of Edge at the end of the show by DX and Cena didn’t sit well with me. Great way to keep up your top heel after losing the strap the night before. And can anyone say “akward” with the Cena- DX chops at the end. Eh, either way”¦ RAW kept me from not changing the channel so much to football this week, so I guess it was good.
