The AP is reporting that the Pac-10 has admitted the refs in the Oregon/Oklahoma game on Saturday completely blew the pooch on several calls at the end of the game, including the onside kick that was clearly touched by Oregon before traveling 10 yards.
Sadly, the crew has only been suspended for one game, instead of being fired. Seriously – even the most rabid Oregon fan watching that replay knew the correct call, so how is possible that the guys who were actually being paid to make the call got it wrong? If the poll voters had any guts at all (or if they actually, you know, watched the games), they’d have counted that game as an Oklahoma win.
