TNA News on Eric Young, Ron Killings, Italy & Chicago

News

– Dale Torborg recently pitched to TNA management the idea of doing a big show in Chicago in conjunction with a White Sox baseball game. Although Chicago is the second biggest city in the USA for wrestling, the event would have had 20,000 to 40,000 people in attendance, and it would have gotten TNA plenty of local publicity for future shows and for Impact, they never bothered to go ahead with it.

– Impact and Xplosion will be airing on primetime on the GXT station in Italy.

– There is talk of running a Jeff Jarrett/Eric Young feud shortly, which was the main reason for Young’s recent image change.

– Ron Killings was due to be added to LAX at one point, but Jarrett nixed the idea and said Killings would definitely get a push if/when Impact gets its second hour.
