In a rather stunning follow-up to yesterday’s post about the trade of Billy Volek to the Chargers, Tennesse Titans coach Jeff Fisher absolutely blasted his former backup QB today, claiming that Volek lied to him, and “threw this organization under the bus, along with a number of his teammates.”
Wow – I can’t imagine what Volek must have done to get a true “player’s coach” like Jeff Fisher this angry. Fisher is well known for always protecting his players, current and former – just try and get him to say anything negative about Steve McNair.
