Survivor: Cook Islands – Romo Blogs

Shows

First off before I begin anyone who is watching Cook Islands this year should read BobDawg’s weekly columns/rants (Check out his episode 1 dissertation – Kevin). That guy is awesome.

This takes me to my first point as BobDawg talked about the laziness depiction on Survivor. Billy got caught up in that net this week. So was he really being lazy or was it all editing?

Second point, it was a HUGE, HUGE mistake to throw the challenge. The Latin team easily could have won, at least not finished last, in that course with a group of 4 sans Billy. J.P, Ozzy and the female Cop, sorry can’t remember her name, all seem to be in the top end of athleticism.

First off they missed a chance at a tarp. Secondly they missed a chance to not allow one, oops TWO teams to get a tarp. And they missed a chance to force another team to vote someone off. The African-American tribe finished third, well behind the other two tribes, and could have hypothetically been forced to vote off a second member leaving them in dire straights.

As I have been watching the Palau DVD, the comments made by Tom and others indicate they thought of throwing a challenge or two to get rid of some dead weight. Yet they did not and by continuing to win they demoralized the other tribe.

No the Asian-American team is on two-challenge winning steak, the Caucasian tribe will stop fighting amongst themselves for 5 minutes as they celebrate and put the tarp up, and the African-American tribe stays in tact.

Big…Big Mistake!

There is why U.S. basketball teams win 100-50 against Angola and Canadian women’s hockey teams run up the score to 16-0 against Italy. You can’t stop trying from winning and assume you can just turn it on when needed.

MVP of the episode: Yul, duh! Dude finds the hidden Idol on the second episode. Let’s just hope he’s not stupid enough to throw a challenge to get rid of Cai Boi.
