Kid Kash Released, MVP Signed

News

From WWE.com:

Kid Kash released
Sept. 27, 2006

WWE has come to terms on the release of David Cash (Kid Kash) as of today, September 27. We wish David the best in all future endeavors.

Kash had just recently come off of a suspension, and has reportedly had a history of “attitude” problems in the past, which has included runs in ECW and TNA before coming to Smackdown to become Cruiserweight Champion and a Tag Title contender along with Pit Bulls partner Jamie Noble (their final match as a team can be seen this Friday on Smackdown). I guess Jamie either goes to ECW from here or recreates his feud that actually led to the introduction of The Hurricane years ago, right? Or perhaps he teams up with former Jung Dragons partner Jimmy Wang Yang! We’ll have more on this as it is available.

In other news, WWE.com has posted a press conference for Teddy Long’s big announcement: he has signed Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) to a Smackdown contract! TAKE THAT TNA!
