– News 24 in South Africa reported that the Vince/Shawn storyline (with God as a tag partner) featured remarks that were “blasphemous and represented hate speech based on religion” according to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCC), which ended up deciding not to fine Channel e.tv which airs WWE and argued that the shows were entertainment.
