What is more stupid? Putting the panties of the women you are having an affair with into your tuxedo pocket or getting mad at your girlfriend for claiming that those same panties were hers and getting jealous since you have never seen them before? Hmm, they are pretty equal actually, but both are funny.
Let me say that the way George tried to act all smooth and cool and flirting with the other nurses after thinking that Callie’s panties were left in the hospital was pretty funny as well and it was totally a “George moment”.
I actually think Meredith’s decision was the best one to make. There are people screaming at their TVs. They want Meredith and Derek together and they will probably get that soon enough. But Meredith is smart to explore her options. If I was in Finn’s or Derek’s position, I wouldn’t back down either. I would stand my ground and date Meredith, even if I knew other guys would be dating her as well. I’m confident enough in my “skills” to win her over in the end. I’m sure that is what they are both thinking. So it will be fun to see them compete for Meredith. By the way, I LOVED how Finn pretty much made Meredith rethink her decision and threw his name back into her hat when he pinned her up against the wall like that. Good move, Robin.
Addison drunk was funny was well. I didn’t like how she went straight back to Mark “McSteamy”, though. That felt cheap in my books. She should move on now and that is not with Mark. Okay, if Addison really likes Mark then great. But since she was drunk for most of the episode, it just seemed like she just called the first person she could think of and go with that. Not smart in my opinion. If she wasn’t drunk, it would have been a different story. Derek shouldn’t feel bad about Addison. She cheated first remember. They both cheated, so it’s best they end their marriage now.
I loved the male patient this week that spoke his mind. It was funny to see the interns reactions. I’m also glad that Bailey finally came and talked to Izzie at the end. Although, Izzie being my “baking roommate” wouldn’t be that bad. I think it’s the “kick in the butt” she needs to finally fix things and start her way back to “normalville”.
As far as Burke and Cristina and his parents, I don’t have much to say. That can be a tough situation, but I think everything will work out fine. Of course, I may have watched too much Cosby Show recently.
Overall, a pretty good episode. It’s definitely setting up things for the future and I liked how all of the main characters got their time to shine. Even though it seemed like the focus of this episode, going into it, was going to be Meredith’s panties, it wasn’t like that at all.
