TV Babies: The Stakes Are Raised on Prison Break

“The hat’s over the wall…”
T-Bag

That’s the main theme of last night’s episode. In other words, all bets are off. Everything’s about to change – for better or worse. And as anyone who watched knows, a lot changed…

As far as predictions go, I certainly didn’t fare too well. I figured either C-Note or Sucre would be the next escapee to go down, instead it was poor Tweener. At least he died with some dignity: not ratting on the Brother Scofield, and getting to say goodbye to his girl. But what a gruesome way to go. It’s now quite clear that Mahone is seriously cracked.

I also didn’t see the abrupt demise of Sara’s father coming. Who’s going to step up and expose the conspiracy now? Sara seems just a bit too fragile. And I have a hard time buying Kellerman’s concern for Sara: it’s more about his disdain for the mysterious “Bill”.

I’m finding Haywire’s relevance more puzzling with every appearance. Frankly, I’m beyond tired of him.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch – the Desperate Housewife’s daughter who just happens to be a cop drops in for a visit. Am I the only one who can’t wait for them to leave this damn house?!? Michael’s resorted to mumbling to himself that things aren’t going as planned. Really? You didn’t want to be trapped with T-Bag and two female hostages? Further complicating matters, a news flash reports that L.J.’s being released from prison. Lincoln, against Michael’s wishes, is Arizona-bound. They reiterate their plan to meet up in three days. And Michael is left in the crazy house, that gets even crazier when Sucre announces he’s taking Westmoreland’s loot for himself…

Due to the MLB PLayoffs on Fox, Prison Break will be going on a two week hiatus and returning October 23. Look for a continued loss of control as the remaining escapees are seperated again, and Billick rejoins the chase (there’s one correct prediction). Go Tigers!
