TiVo Central – Grey's Anatomy – Episode 3-3

Shows

First, let me explain my column name. It’s called “The Triangle”. I’m the MASTER of the “love triangle”, so you can take it that way. I love “love triangles” on TV, because I know all about them. However, you can also say this “triangle” is something that connects me, with my TV to you, reading on the internet. People are connected to their TVs and computers in one big triangle. In addition, once you get inside this triangle you get sucked right in like the “Bermuda Triangle”. So there you go, “The Triangle”. Make sense?

On with this episode. We go right to the headline triangle for the third season of this show. Meredith is dating both Derek and Finn. I have to say I liked the whole competition thing between Derek and Finn. It’s a little dirty, but that’s okay. All is fair in love AND war. And yes, two guys competing for one woman can get so caught up in the competition that they forget about the woman completely. It happens. You would think it wouldn’t happen, but it does. Now then, Meredith’s little speech at the end should bring both guys back to reality. I look for more competition and dating fun in the weeks to come. That’s entertainment!

George and Callie now. Did I not tell you? Callie is still pushing the serious relationship. George is STILL not sure. He didn’t want Callie living with him right now, which is a smart move all around. He didn’t want to give her a house key. He likes Callie, but he doesn’t love her. I told you, she is just a distraction. Of course, I could be proved wrong in the upcoming weeks but I don’t see it right now.

I like the young girl as the patient. She will be sticking around for a few more weeks, so hopefully you will or have been reading my spoiler reports, that don’t spoil a whole lot. If the rumors are true, though, I like where that storyline is going.

Speaking of which, I liked how they showed Burke and Izzie standing outside of the hospital. Neither are ready to go back as they both have issues to deal with. Different issues, but still the same issues in the end.

I also liked the whole hotel thing where it seemed like the “outsiders” or the recent newcomers to the cast all stayed at the hotel, while the main cast members from the beginning of the show, Izzie, Meredith, and George all stayed at their house and it’s like old times again. I liked that. But maybe that’s just me and my imagination.

What didn’t I like about this episode? Not too much. This was a pretty funny episode. I don’t think Addison should be with Mark, so I can say I don’t like Mark sticking around Seattle but that’s about all.

By the way, I’m sure it’s every girl’s fantasy to have Derek and Finn in their bed at the same time. But if I had a fantasy with people on the show it would be George with Meredith and Izzie on either side of him! Now that’s a fantasy!

This show just keeps rolling along and I definitely like that!

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
