D2 Review: Dancing with the Stars

Jerry brought everyone to tears”¦ including me”¦ but I wasn’t crying because his wish to learn the waltz for his daughte’s wedding was so moving”¦ I was crying because when the camera cut to his daughter sitting in the audience, I couldn’t believe she was getting married! Someone actually asked her out on a date, courted her for a while and then proposed her hand in marriage. Was I the only one in shock about this?

Mario and Joey were very diligent, played by the rules and delivered some damn good performances. And rumors were flying about the presence of Eva Longoria as she cheered on Mario, though the two have been good friends for years. Sara, Monique, Willa and Emmitt were all clear and moved on to the next week. And the two surprises were that Jerry’s fanbase and emotional dance moved the public enough to keep him in the running. And Vivica A. Fox couldn’t pull enough heart strings to keep it going for another week. I guess that’s what happens when you try to paso doble to Bon Jovi. Note to self: keep the Jersey boys separate from the bullfighters. And note to self: get a dad who has a talk show”¦ it’s a surefire way to get a man.
