[NEWS] Heroes Gets Full Season

News, Shows

The first new show this Fall to get picked up for all 22 episodes this season is Heroes on NBC. The ratings have been fairly strong in its first two episods. Good enough to help NBC win or stay close on Monday night in the key 18-49 demographic.

Other new NBC shows have struggled, but Heroes seems to be the best of the bunch. The show follows ordinary people who learn they have extraordinary abilities. It stars Greg Grunberg (Alias, Felicity), Sendhil Ramamurthy, Ali Larter (Final Destination, Varisty Blues), Masi Oka (Scrubs), Hayden Panettiere (Ice Princess), Milo Ventimiglia (Gilmore Girls) and Adrian Pasdar (Judging Amy).

Heroes has delivered exceptional ratings since its premiere, and we’re even more impressed with the quality of the upcoming episodes,” NBC Entertainment president Kevin Reilly says. “We have complete confidence in creator-executive producer Tim Kring. The best is yet to come over the course of a full season with this newest drama sensation.”

The real question is not whether these Heroes can save the world as expected, but can they save NBC?

Sir Linksalot: Heroes

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
